Is it true that intermittent fasting increasing your IGF1 and HGH levels by 2000% ?

I keep hearing from advocates of intermittent fasting who are usually a part of healthy living communities that IGF1 and HGH levels go up by 2000% ? Is there any evidence to back that up?

I think it is just a tool to help you stick to a diet. Some people like big meals and some like more frequent meals. Adherence to the diet is the most important factor.
