Hey all,

I've been struggling with weight loss for years, and now know why. I'm pre-diabetic and have an insulin resistance. My endo told me to cut way back on carbs, and that initially worked - I dropped around eight lbs over 2-3 weeks then the weight loss stopped. I shoot for 2200cal daily with fairly high protein (eggs, lean meats) and the only carb-ish food I eat regularly is plain oatmeal with fruit in the morning. For someone like me with insulin resistance, is there a ballpark limit to what my daily carb intake should be?
