Anyone else here EX fatties who have hard time with bulking and phobia?

I lost 100lbs maybe 15 years ago and now have phobia which prevents me from bulking. I work out but don't see much in form of gains even on TRT because of lack proper nutrition. Have restricted carb diet because of phobia which is hurting my gains. Was considering getting nutritionist to help but they $$$ and most of time they only good on diet and not on proper diet for clean bulk. Any suggestions if you have dealt with this issue?

Diet is literally the hardest part of BB. I went from 240 and having never worked out to 195 with the strictest diet I have ever done. Started working out to tone up and just really got into it. Between muscle and fat from bulking I went back up to 225 which is where my body seems to like it because at 225 I can eat basically what I want with my workout program but it's hard to see results under the fat. I'm doing a cut right now and plan to cut to 12-15% while laying out a solid lean bulk diet plan. Check into carb cycling. That might be a good way to put on some size for you.

Tell me about it. I know
Worst thing for us is hot showers and baths. The hot chlorine treated water destroys the Skins natural elasticity

You are not the only one. I went from 240 to 165 in 9 months naturally and competed in my first BB contest.
As far as skin tightening, radio frequency works but is temporary. Doesnt totally eliminate it, but got it good enough to compete. Prep H also works. Take collagen tablets, it may help. As time has passed and my lifestyle has changed, I can now compete without RF, but I need to pose in specific ways so that it isnt noticeable.

I weighed in today and 3 weeks into cycle have dropped 5 lbs eating a killo of chicken breast and 3 cups of rice a day. I have dropped 30 plus kilo overall last year. I cannot do my current activity and gain weight bulking. I hate sweets. I was just bed ridden for a few years and earned fattie status. No fear for gaining it back except when I have a coke now and then. I know those are the calories of the darkside.

The two tools I find for eating fear are HgH and metformin. If you can eat taking those you are beyond me. It is a total cock block to food.

    My ex is a fattie.
It doesn't interfere with my bulking, though I do have a phobia of her.

In all fairness she had cut a lot of weight in this photo. She floated a lot of laps. I tied to a small life preserver with a kfc bucket in it and walked laps with her. If ypu must know, it was her eyes that pulled me in...

I'm a FFG of nearly three decades (pretty much my entire life), and I'd say yes and no. It's not my life as a fatty that makes me extremely cautious when bulking now; it's my first bulk (fulk, really) that did it.

Interestingly though, my food choices now also play a role. Clearly, I'm no "hardgainer", as I was morbidly obese by age ten and stayed that way into my late 20s. However, since losing all of the fat, my insulin sensitivity recovered and my energy levels shoot through the roof when I am in a caloric surplus. This results in me having an extremely high NEAT, and even at 162 now, eating an average of 2900 kcals/day on a 40/40/20 macro split is barely enough to maintain my weight, let alone gain anything. That's difficult when you're used to volume eating vegetables and lean meats to keep the hunger demons at bay.

I've basically resorted to replacing some of the veg volume with shit like potatoes, oats, and post-lift Raisin Bran in order to make the calories more tolerable to get in. As my caloric needs increase further along, I just keep swapping out some of the pounds of vegetables (yes, pounds, not servings) with more dense carb sources.

I cycle Test but it is nowhere near the boost I get from HGH. For weight loss HGH is amazing for me. 10 iu daily and I wake up a kilo lighter over three days. I just accept minor gains from Test on the cut...I am 1200 calories in the hole or more daily. Just has to suck till I get to 10 percent bodyfat.

For sure keep on the test train.

Interesting, how often do you exercise a week?

4x/week lifting, 2x/week alternating HIIT or LISS cycling, and one day sport specific training for Strongman events.

that's pretty intense so you need a lot more calorie intake then average person.

Mmhmm. I also average 25-26k steps per day right now, just from work and pacing. The higher I shoot my kcals, the less I can sit still.
