Some help with pwo timing please

So alot of my training is endurance type stuff running swiming cycling ect... usually I do my short runs (26min) in the am and weights in the evening. Due to some scheduling conflicts at least for the next month I will have to do my short runs now right after lifting in the evenings. Should I have my pwo after the run? Will it be too late to be benificial? My runs are easy zone 2 hr .
    Thanks

Just take it after weight training before the run for protein. If your runs last 2 hours you'll get the benefit of the weight training and hypertrophy with the post workout protein right after. But post workout also can include carbohydrates. Which for endurance athletes is crucial. So you may want to add in protein and carbohydrates after your 2 hour run also. So do it twice. One after your weight training hypertrophy session and one after your endurance run. Hope this helps.

You want protein and glycogen within 30 minutes after lifting. You can also use the glycogen during the workout.

I would just consume EAAs and 80g of a carb drink like carbolzye DURING your weight training session, then you can jump right on the cardio when your done with weights
