Rich pianas weight gainer shake
So in one of his videos, the late rich piana mentions a good alternative to a weight gainer powder shake. He says to mix a cup of oatmeal, 10 egg whites, a banana, and a scoop of peanutbutter. Sounds simple enough but i have a silly question. If you made this, would you cook the eggs and oatmeal first? Whats your favorite homemade weight gainer shake?

No need to cook the oatmeal but I’d make sure the egg whites were pasteurised.
There are a bunch of ideas in the recipe section for shakes but one of mine is
Oats
Cottage cheese
Sweetener
Espresso shot
Egg whitesNO SOURCES GIVEN

the point of a weight gainer shake is simply adding carbohydrates and fats to a protein shake (or other source of protein like egg whites) thats it.
you could accomplish the same thing by eating more protein, fats and carbs . blending it all up can help some people though as drinking is easier then eating.
personally I'd go with whey isolate and whole milk as my liquid source over egg whites

That is some dumbbbb shit. I liked him, but seriously that’s so dumb. I like to eat my food and not drink it, just my opinion.

I keep a bag of "on" gainer mix on hand for when I am in a hurry or got behind. I can eat a meal and get full and always fit a serving down if I need. I like the idea of gainer for a hectic schedule and its also primarily the only reason I have protein shakes.
I feel like I have broken my personal rules and betrayed myself when I miss a meal. When work gets busy it happens too often.

Work and busy life is my only reason for drinking nutrients as well. It’s my version of fast food
