Because of my new job and my new hours I will only be working out once a day in the morning (weights 3 days a week and cardio 6 days a week). The day that I do weights and cardio together, I will not have time in my schedule to split them up so I have to do one right after the other (hour and a half up to 2 hours). Since I am working out for a long period of time in one shot, I want to avoid becoming catabolic so should I have a protein drink or a meal replacememt right before I workout? Meaning, which one is more appropriate? And how long AFTER the "drink/meal" should I wait before starting the workout?![]()
