I like to make 3lb meat loaf with extra lean ground beef. Gotta just find a way to keep eating obviously real food is always better than shakes.

I really enjoy a good blackened Tuna steak salad. Takes about 15 minutes to make. About 25 grams of protein in the steak.

Boom! That's what I always tell people and they look at me like "omg dude that's a great fuckin idea how have I never thought of that?" lol and it's actaully healthy too cause of all the efa's. Fuck mass gainers nasty ass sugar cals. Healthy fats are the way to go.. Avocado is really good too.

I'm gonna share this with you cause I like you dude... 6 words.

All you can eat Asian buffet.

I go to one everyday from the office and house 3 solid plates of chicken, fish, ribs, and not gonna lie I'll get some of their delicious deserts but go easy on em. Easily 1,500- 2,000 cals in that one meal (depending on how clean I keep it lol)

I'm gonna be neutral on this .. cause Alpha is totally right in that healthy fats can be a game changer .

but you gotta know why and how to use it. if you simply add fats to your diet with no rhyme or reason, your going to get fatter. why? cause fat doe NOT require a hormonal response from the body to be stored. if fat has nothing to do or be told what to do , which is 90% of the time, it will store itself as fat for energy later. fat goes to fat period (yeah yeah you keto fucks we will argue later, I been keto a dozen times) , its a magnet to a magnet. CARBS on the other hand require INSULIN and other mechanisms to be stored as fat after muscle glycogen response .. but dietary fat becomes stored fat with very little hormone response from the body. in fact if you were dying of starvation and all you had to eat for your final meal was pure fat, your body would store 90% of what you just ingested, as stored fat first , and then try to use it to save your life..

fats are great. but they are a tool you need to learn to use and manipulate , like every other macro

Except for the part where all of the ones near me are utterly terrible and borderline inedible. I swear to god, it’s like someone just slapped a “Hong Kong King” sign up over the Golden Corral sign and called it a day. We call those places “the trough” around here for a reason; only the cattle of humanity seem to be able to keep down the shit fed from there.

My local sushi joint, however? I could eat enough from there to give myself iodine poisoning; then suffer a cardiac event from the multi-hundred dollar tab.

Tuna steak is expensive but my favorite meal.
Seered tuna steak is the best thing on earth coastal guys have no idea how rare it is in the midwest. I have to search hard for it. Then you get it and its a tiny sliver deadened down with spices and wasabi because it is half rotten.

Fresh tuna steak, seared is the greatest meal on earth.

That sucks bro... Where I'm at they are clean and the food is well presented and fresh. The sushi is also very good and all the fish is fresh... The one down side it that a lot of the meat these places use is fatty cuts of pork and beef and the chicken is breaded for the most part, BUT if you're trying to keep it clean they have a spot in the back where they do Hibachi and you can get chicken, steak, and fish grilled fresh right in front of you.

I'm assuming you're in a smaller rural area...? Most cities and even bigger suburbs have places like what I'm describing.

As a fellow mid-westerner, you're ABSOLUTELY right! It's either expensive as hell, or TINY... At least we have the great midwest views... oh wait.. no we don't. (#cornFieldsForever). I will say however, were I live at least, there are very few things (like poisonous snakes) that can kill you... just the routine gang-shooting stuff.

Another thing I've started doing recently is making a shake with a banana, 2 fat tablespoons of peanut butter (organic if possible), 1 cup Kefir (for probiotics and extra protein), 1 1/2 cups liquid egg whites (pure egg albumin protein highly bio-available), and a few ice cubes and some honey to sweeten it up and it's fuckin delicious bro.

Now, this version of the shake isn't super high in calories and I use it to cram in some semi-clean calories post work out or before bed if I'm behind on cals for the day...

I drank this shake the other day and fell asleep after, and when I woke up about an hour later I had all kinds of nitrogen retention happening and my muscles were very tight and full. So I know this thing will help you make some gains cause nitrogen retention like that is a by-product of protein synthesis.

In your case I would add ice cream and a few table spoons of an EFA and DHA rich healthy oil like a high quality olive oil to increase overall calories and also add to it's nutrient content. You can also add spinach and surprisingly it tastes good, even with the spinach...

They day I decide to bulk up. I am doing monthly prepay at brazillian steak house. They have really cheap lunches, here its $15 per person. All you can eat 6 different meats and salad bar. Thats how I became overweight in the first place.

Quick way is usually with air fryer, I marinate my meats in advance and leave it in the fridge. Indian stores have lots of quick dry spices to marinade.

Pro tip: I always buy my meats at Indian stores. They have flat rate $7/lb doesnt matter what cut. I usually tip the butcher and now he knows me well. All the nice steaks, filet mignon etc $7/lb LOL

That was my guess and when some of the big guys like Shaw, Bjornsson, etc. eat, they probably struggle just to get in enough kcal to maintain mass and strength, let alone increase in those areas.
Also, Shaw mentioned in one of his videos the sweetness takes a tad of boredom out of constantly pounding down steamed rice.

Learning a little on slin and my view is changing. It throws you body a curve as best I can tell. To stay on it any duration is moving backwards.

I have noticed the longer I am on it the less it seems to do. The first time I used it for a bridge between blasts was spectacular though. I am uber sensitive to it though. Maybe everyone doesnt have the same results as me but I am thinking it may be time to part with it for a bit

My local health food store sells zero calorie Chocolate Sauce as well as Maple Syrup, Strawberry Syrup, etc. The company is called Walden Farms and they are from New Jersey. It tastes like real chocolate sauce, none of the "sweetener/chemical" taste. If you freeze fruit and greek yogurt, using whatever sauce/syrup you can make a yummy dessert
