I sleep a TON better which helps my mood. But once my shifts into fat burning I feel pretty good.

Nice. How about mental clarity? I have done keto, but honestly cant remember exactly how I felt mood wise.
From what I can recall,I seemed the same on any mental clarity, sharpness. As far as mood,I cant recall .

I've been on keto (high protein, mid fats, trace carb i.e. <20g/day) since August. I love it. It hasn't affected my mood but my energy is steady and no blood sugar fluctuations. I break keto weekly for cheat meal. At first those cheat carbs would kill me- make me groggy af/lethargic. I'm less carb sensitive now, through.
Keto has been great for my mental clarity

I didn’t notice any mental clarity difference, but I’m always sharp as a tack anyway

But at peanutbutterdc said above, not dealing with blood sugar spikes and such is helpful. I do notice a massive reduction on mid afternoon crash. And as I said, sleep is much improved.

I ran keto for a bit over 4 months last year and agree with folks here. Stable energy levels throughout the day, no post lunch siesta urges. Strength in the gym though forget it was not there, also doms lasted twice as long. Thing is about month or two after keto (I was still low carb, sub 150 total carbs daily) I had labs done and my lipid panel was quite high and my test levels were very low but this was the first time I had those tested.
