    What to eat before bed?

What would be the best thing to eat before I go to bed?

I could just have a protein shake with milk. Also, I fancy something a bit more filling but without having the negative effects like turning me into a fat ****.

I need something that's quick, easy, healthy and is obviously going to slow release protein while I sleep?

I also tend to get a bit of a sweet tooth around this time so could maybe encorporate that instead of nicking a biscuit or two. Not necessary though. Thanks

I eat cottage cheese every night before bed. If you can't handle it by itself add a small amount of fruit or similar to it.

Me too. Cottage cheese and almonds or walnuts. I LOVE peanut butter, but it's hard for me to stop at just one jar.

I like protein before bed and often have a shake with blueberries, coconut water, milk and protein. It is a good time for your body to recover.

LOL, no way could I touch slin, especially before bedtime, my fat @ss runs low anyway unless I'm on GH.

A slow digesting casein protein, such as cottage cheese or quark would do the trick. Adding some healthy fats to this would be a good idea - both work very well with peanut butter. That being said, most whole protein sources with some healthy fat would work - lean beef, chicken and peanut butter etc etc. I always have cottage cheese and PB though.
