Has anyone tried a meat diet?

I feel happier, more energized and hornier when I eat meat, alot, and it has to be bloody.
Well-done has no effect on me.
Probs placebo, but heck, if it works it works.

So I wanna start a meat diet and wanted to see if anyone has any experience eating tons of meat everyday and train?

I have good oils to sub for fat fish loss.

    Oats and eggs for breakfast.
The rest of the day will be 500-600 gram meat spread out on different meals with a lot of veggies and a good carb source.
No fish, chicken, pork or anything else foodwise will be used.
    No aas.
Will probs throw in a gainer or prot shake depending on day, maybe some nuts.

Any thoughts or advice except don't do it?^^
    Might poop pure meat pieces...

It depends on what you mean by a "meat" diet because that is a very broad term.

A ketogenic based diet is moderate protein / high fat with extremely low to zero carbs. Most people will eat fattier cuts of meat to get protein and fats at once. This could be considered a "meat" diet.

A carnivore diet (new trend) differs from a Ketogenic diet in that it doesn't have a specified ratio of fat : protein, does not include any vegetables or plant based food sources (including anything derived from plants ; such as using black pepper on food or drinking coffee). It will still include fat like a Ketogenic diet. The philosophy of the carnivore diet is to eat nose to tail in order to get enough micronutrition (brain, organ meats, etc). This is also considered a "meat" diet.

A cookie cutter bodybuilding diet has somewhere around 35-50% as it's calories coming from complete protein sources (ie meat). Relative to a traditional "western" diet this would also be considered a "meat" based diet.

The meal plan you've laid out is just foods at different times of day. It's not clear when you would be training, but food choices and meals need a purpose. If anything it's a low carb diet depending on the carb intake beyond the oats for breakfast.

Also gainer shakes are a giant waste of money unless you are making your own at home.

Thanks man! I didn't take it as far as consider this a diet in a precise term, my mistake for making that unclear. :P
The point is that I feel really really good eating bloody meat (beef) and I think I read somewhere that it had benefits in men in that regard.
Not talking about intake of fat, zinc or amino acids, but was something else.
Jordan Peterson and his daughter advocate a much more strict beef-diet. Jordans daughter got rid of/kept in check a health issue that was rather serious
as I understood it with the diet (tho it def shouldn't have) - which medicine couldn't, and Jordan himself felt mentally stronger and slept better (which is easier to explain).

I'm just going on a limb here and is no expert in anything of this, but the focus is the bloody beef (low fat pieces) and how it feels living more or less solely on that
for a protein source (except the little in my breakfast and carb sources).
Most fat will derive on olive oil to contribute, havn't made a food-scheme yet^^ Overdose of certain minerals might be an issue?

Heck...not sure... I have just been baffled on how strong bloody beef affect me each time I eat it year after year, so thought giving it a real try as a diet.
I've tried other substitutes with similar nutrients, but never ever felt anything similar.
Might be in my head, but interesting if anyone has some insight

It's going to be 1 of 2 things, or both:

    (1) placebo effect, common for everyone when they drastically change their nutrition

    (2) Red meat has a lot of micro nutrition - so if your protein was boneless skinless chicken breast, ground turkey, lean fish, etc, before, that's why you feel more energized and sleep better now. Most lean cuts of meat (not just chicken) are missing a lot of micro nutrition because it's mostly found in the fat. The way to offset that is with vegetables, which people do not eat enough. It's very rare for someone to eat 3 cups of mixed vegetables 6 times a day.

Red meat specifically has high B vitamins and iron. Iron is needed to effectively turn over red blood cells which takes 240ish days.

In red meat you get a lot of Pyrodixal 5' Phosphate (Vitamin B6) which is used to make 5hydrotrytophan which is then used to make 5hydroxytrytamine (Serotonin) which is then used to make melatonin.

a lot of the benefits to be had from eating a diet high in red meat actually comes from the fact that its also high in saturated fat (despite what popular belief is about saturated fats, it has tons of health and performance benefits) .

choosing white fish or lean chicken over red meat can result in much less saturated fats in the diet and thus a decrease in health factors, athletic performance, nerve signaling, immune system function, and a host of other things.

its no surprise that adding red meat and saturated fasts to your diet would make you feel and perform better

Thanks a lot guys for the detailed answers! I guess it's a combination of them all - placebo, micro nutrients (I do not get enough in that case), and saturated fat. Guess I lack one or some of them
as well which makes me feel it even more. I've heard similar stories from several others - the red meat and libido part especially.
I also think from my past with AAS that it helps keep my hormones balanced better, which contribute to more well-being.
Just for the science of it, I will try it and keep a log on the progress when I start.
Just took a test seeing how my body is at the moment and everything seems great, so I guess I could take another test after a month or two.

A few minus (not risky yet) was according to test:
    - A few too many red blood cells, mostly because of a little too high concentration of vitamin B6+12 according to doc.
    - Kidneys are not optimal due to high protein intakes over a long period of time according to doc.

LOL with that body you eat people, so I guess it count as meat.
On a serious note, how do you feel compared to swapping meat for e.g. chicken for a time?
