    A2 Milk

For those with lactose / dairy digestion issues, I would recommend giving this a try. Ideally you want to find whole, non homogenized A2 milk.

The milk is from selective breeding with different casein protein to make it easier to digest. It is high in potassium (500mg/serving) so don't drink 1 litre in one sitting. 2000mg of potassium would make most people repaint their toilet then think it's the milk not agreeing with them.

couldn't you switch to goats milk from cow milk and basically achieve the same thing ? I think the casein protein in goats milk is basically all A2

That is correct. I love me some goat milk, but unless you have a local farmer, that shit is fuckoff expensive.

I'm uninformed in exactly why A1 casein is supposedly bad in the first place .. inflammation ?? some cows produce mainly A1 yet others produce A1 and A2. yet goats produce all A2. is there something wrong with a cow that produces manly A1 ?

I can only speak for Canada but here goats milk is anywhere from double to triple the price of cows milk.

Milk is a good bang for your buck food when speaking in calories to dollars. Goats milk also has half the potassium which I find people don't get enough of. So many are focused just on macros and not micros.

It’s a weird allergy thing. A lot of people who think they are lactose intolerant are actually having an allergic reaction to the A1 casein, and their symptoms go away when using goat milk or A2 cows milk. I’m one of them. I thought forever that I was lactose intolerant, but nope. All of the fucked up guts and borderline pants shitting was the A1 casein.

Same reason dairy protein supplements are a no go for me.

Anyone having potassium intake issues is eating like an asshole. I’m close to 13g of potassium per day at maintenance calories, and that’s overkill for almost anyone.
