Thread: First try at this

    First try at this

    This is the first time im really trying to nail down a good diet. Trying to get to 225lbs currently 6’ 205 16%BF and on trt.

    Meal 1. 6am
    3/4 cup oats
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    1 scoop 30g protein 130 calories
    1 cup almond milk / sometimes regular milk
    3 raw eggs

    Calories 825. Protein 61. Carbs 60


    Meal 2. 9am
    1/2lb of turkey
    1 cup sweet potato
    1/4 cup white rice

    Calories 435. Protein 52 Carbs. 38

    Meal 3. 12pm
    Same as 2

    Meal 4. 3pm
    Same as 3

    Meal 5. 5:30 pm
    Whatever wife makes, steak, salmon, chicken etc

    Meal 6. 9:30pm

    That looks good for a maintenance diet but you won't gain 20lbs with that.

    Personally I would never eat a meal without at least 30g protein so right away meal 4 and 6 jump out to me. Meal 4 is okay as it is between meals but for meal 6 being it is your last meal of the day, I would add protein to it for sure.

    The calories on that diet won't be enough to bulk 20 lbs but as stated above stay consistent with it. After a week or two on this diet come back and post an update regarding how much weight you gained/dropped and make the necessary changes from there. I don't know how your appetite is but to me that isn't a lot of food which is a good thing because it will be that much easier to add food when it is necessary.

    Ok

    Replaced meal 4 with same as 2 and 3

    Meal 6 will be same as meal 1

    Updated it in my first post

    I will update with progress.

    Added a 1/4 cup of white rice to meal 2, 3 and 4.

    Added 3 raw eggs to each shake and turkey gravey to the meals. weight is going up very slow and im also leaning out a little.

    Still going strong
