    Sample Diet

    I am pretty "dietly challenged" so I'm kinda starting things from scratch. I borrowed very heavily from one of GH's sample diets but I just wanted to run this by everybody and get opinions. It's not really a bulking or cutting diet necessarily, probably closer to maintenance, but I just wanted to see where this takes me then adjust based on bulking or cutting.

    Meal 1
    2 cups Whole Milk
    2 scoops Whey Powder
    2 tbsp Peanut Butter
    1/2 cup Oatmeal
    Frozen Strawberries and Bananas
    Total: 950 calories 79p – 34f – 82c

    Meal 2
    8oz Ground Beef
    Salsa
    2 Tbsp Sour Cream
    White Rice
    Black Eyed Peas
    Total: 673 calories 60p – 21f – 61c

    Meal 3
    8 oz Chicken Thighs
    2 Mashed Potatoes
    Green Beans
    Total: 794 calories 34p – 50f – 52c

    Meal 4
    8 oz NY Strip Steak
    4 Eggs
    Total: 766 calories 70p – 54f – 0c

    Meal 5
    Whole Milk
    Casein Protein
    Total: 278.5 calories 32p – 10.5f – 14c

    Total: 3461 calories 275p – 169.5f – 209c

    When I counted the protein that only came from animal, dairy, and powder sources, it came up to 243g instead of 275, but since I'm barely over 200 right now, I figured that would be plenty. These meals aren't in any particular order, except meal 5 always comes last.
