Desired blood sugar prior to exercise. NOT related to exogenous insulin injections

So has anyone monitored their BS prior to and after exercise? and does anyone have a desired set of numbers that they try to achieve?

i know it's important to have a meal 2 hr before lifting, but everyone BS reacts differently. i'm starting to believe that my own rarely peaks beyond the 90s. that's after eating a TBSP of honey, and drinking a double scoop of BCAAs.

I feel like going into a lifting session i should be shooting for a BS of over 100, or around 115-even 130. my thinking is that exercise lowers BS. BS is lowered by insulin . insulin is anabolic .

i know the easy answer is eat more, but i'm trying to get intimately knowledgeable with the way my body works, so that i can better manipulate it.

Add for question and posting reading material.

does a bigger pool of Blood Sugar equate to increased endurance? what are the second and third order effects of increased endurance when it comes to training, rest, and the anabolism that follows the latter two.

did i get that question right? ^

That is less than 100 calories. Of course your blood sugar isn't going to spike.

You want to eat an hour or two before your workout so you have fuel to train. A tablespoon of honey and some BCAAs is not eating. BS is lowered by insulin . insulin is anabolic .

Look at the chart for what a normal person's blood sugar looks like after a meal.

People who run marathons drink Gatorade and eat sugared gels so their body has more fuel to burn.
The same principles apply to any training that is long enough in time.

If you try to train intensely without food in your body you will not perform as well.
If you don't perform as well you do less work.
If you do less work you do less damage.
If you do less damage you grow less.

i'm dieting right now, but i'm so close to making weight that i'm ready to stop dieting. i ate a few things before my workout today and my endurance went up quite nicely.

So about how many calories do I need to consume to get my BS to 200? I also want to avoid getting fat, but i want an intimate understanding of what makes me fat. i want manipulation mastery.

here is another article i read. it talks about cardio training VS interval and heavy compound-explains what is does the BS.

i'm setting my goal to never have fasting BS level during a workout.

how many times a day do i want fasting levels?

thanks for caring so much. if it makes you feel better I've decided that i'd like to get a hold of BS manipulation on a natural basis first. I've never thought about BB from this perspective. i'm excited. this is meal timing and now i'm giving a shit at a detailed level. it is a good thing. it's better i naturally increase my seriousness about BB.

    BREAK*************** edit

simple carbs spike BS, but they also cause BS to drop faster correct?
