Pasta and rice twice a day when bulking.
I am supposed to be consuming around 250-280 carbs a day (which is like 35%-40% of my macros)
From all this, half of them as pasta carbs (fetuchini in alfredo with broccoli) and the other half mostly brown rice. I do consume some veggies along rice and pasta. Breakfast is oats.
They all fit in my macros and calories counting. But again, I'm having brown rice twice a day and past twice a day too.
My question is, isn't it bad to eat so much of it for calories even if it fits? I'm not into sweet potato and real potato isn't hard of my like neither.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the typos.Last edited by TheDreamer; 01-31-2021 at 11:01 AM.

I'm a bit sensitive to carbs and this is why I'm asking this question.
I'm having 5 main meals: oats for breakfast, pasta for lunch, again brown rice in the evening and pasta again 2 hours before going to bed.
My lunch is the biggest meal. I consume 80gr carbs (pasta) for that one. The rest of my meals are more evenly split.Last edited by TheDreamer; 01-31-2021 at 11:02 AM.

Less pasta.
More fruit.
You'll get far more nutrients.
There is more to dieting then simple macros.

Yeah like DD said. I eat lots of oranges and apples, I also make healthy smoothies.
Pasta and rice is how guys bulking on massive cycles get their calories in, they would spend the entire day eating and preparing food if they ate all plants, but at 2800 a day you can easily eat some good food.
