100G of protein powder a day - too much?
Hello all.. 40 year old male/200lbs/15%bf/6'2/vegetarian but eat eggs
I don't eat meat .. trying to up my protein intake.. I take 2 scoops of VEGA protein which is protein from chickpeas .. and 2 scoops of casein before bed .. getting close to 100g of protein from it. I get another 100g from greek yogurt/cottage cheese/eggs, etc. so roughly 200g of protein per day
Is this too much on my body? I feel okay for now .. did have GI issues earlier this year but not sure what it was related to. I workout 6x/week.
Let me know your thoughts.

Aslong as you dont have any issues with digestion you should be fine i think. Im taking 2 whey shakes a day atm for 60g of protein, one with breakfast and second an hour before bed. And im feeling great no problems

Thank you for the reply. Are there any symptoms to watch out for to know if I am taking too much protein powder? I did my blood test recently and everything was pretty normal.

100 should be ok, but 101 could cause severe complications or even death
