    Intermittent fasting and cycling

    Is it safe for the muscle to fast, let's say, 3 times a week from 8pm to 8pm the next day for a couple of weeks? I'm getting 600mg of test a week if it helps and I'm on my 3rd week cycling. My bodyfat is super high and my problem is that it shows in my bellly the most. Pride is just less than a week apart and I need to lose at least an inch before the event. I ask because it looks like I reached a plateau. Thanks in advance.

    You really shouldn't be running gear when your BF is high. You need to learn to diet and train before ever running gear.

    But as far as fasting, I do fast on days I dont work out, which is only one day a week. not three.

    personally i would not fast while on a blast cycle because it will interfere with the gains you could potentially make. id prefer to minimize calorie intake, but make sure to eat at least 30 grams of protein every 3 hours from a solid food source like egg whites or grilled chicken.

    also, do as much cardio as your schedule will allow. this along with sufficient protein intake with minimal calories will yield great results.

    After about 50 minutes if cardio you stop buring fat and start burning muscle. "as much cadio as your schedule will allow" will very likely be overkill.

    He's already catabolic and excessive cardio will only make that worse.

    Just hire a coach dude and be done. Some people can get this on their own and others (most) can’t.

    You seem very lost with every post you make. Youve done two cycles and are only 190lbs at 18% probably higher even. Knowledge is everything for 99% of us in this game.

    i hear ya, but for some context, with my personal schedule between work, commuting and lifting i can only get an hour of cardio in 4-5 times a week. eating a high protein, low calorie diet with that routine has allowed me to burn fat effectively while maintaining muscle. of course ive got anabolics helping with the process though
