I boil eggs in water, sometimes i forget them boiling for 45 min- 1 hour and they still are perfectly good so the time doesnt matter imo unless you want the yoke to be liquid
If you want the perfect boiled egg here’s the recipe. Generally slightly older eggs better to hard boil than totally fresh ones.
Let the eggs sit out and get about to room temperature (at least not refrigerated cold). Put eggs in water, start heat on high and when it gets to a boil turn off heat, cover and let sit for 6 to 8 minutes. Drain hot water, fill with cold water and dump in ice.
They will be perfectly cooked and also easy to peel.
First attempt
Eggs at room temperature (because we don’t refrigerate them)
Air fry
150deg c / 300deg f (minimum I can go)
No pre heating
For 13 minutes
Then striaght into a pan of cold water
Eggs tasted fine. But it was slightly browned on one side probably the side sitting on the metal.
If I set the air fryer to bake I can set the temp lower so I’ll try that next time.
Got it nailed
Eggs at room temp
In the air fryer but on bake to get it blow 150 deg c
130 deg c / 266 deg f
No pre heating
For 15 minutes
Then straight into a pan of cold water
Think I’ll be doing my hard boiled this way in future, just easier for me.
