Are you dieting or bulking?
I drink lots of milk(3litres a day) when bulking!
But I just drink distilled water when cutting!

BG...skim milk and 1% (low fat milk) are fine for bulking. I use them in two of my shakes per day. Just keep it in moderation. Most of your liquid intake should be in the form of water whether dieting or bulking.
Mallet...3 litres? Man I would be soooo bloated.

Pete I drink 2litres at work alone , half a litre with breakfast,
and half a litre after workout, or before bed.
If I drink water with my meals they digest to quickly, and I'm hungry an hour after eating?
But during dieting, distilled water only?

True Milk is Full of sugar all the carbs are sugar in milk and this concerned me too .... but see although they are sugar they have a low glycemic index value therefore are released slowly into the system .... not all sugars are created equal!!!
Apples have a very low GI rating as does pasta yet Rice is moderate to high .... so go ahead and have that milk before bed ... but ofcoarse if cutting the goal is to minimise excess carbs so wether cutting or bulking i have my shakes in Milk ....how else will i mix my flax oil in ????

Right on Socia! You took the words out of my mouth. Skim milk is an excellent source of carbs, all of which come through sugar. If you have a lactose intollerence it is the WORST dairy product you can ingest. If you are low carb dieting and you want something that resembles milk I use one tablespoon of heavy cream for 1/3 cup of water. Better flavor fewer carbs.
