ok i am starting this new cutting diet.

    here goes...

7am: cardio bike low intensity 45-50 minutes
    8am: 6 egg whites
10am: two cans of tuna, or chicken
    12: protein shake
    2:30 chicken or tuna, veggies
    5: protein shake
    7: protein shake

I workout differnt times depending on school and work

    what do you guys think
my main goal is to cut fat, even if i lose muscle fat too
i am 6'5 295 just medically retired from college football due to injury
so i am ready to lose all this extra weight
    i think i am about 21% bf

This is very cool. When I first started working out about 4 years ago, my stats were almost the same as yours, actually somewhat worse. I was about 275 lbs, and something like 26% bf (Unlike you, I didn't play football so I had no base from which to start).

Personally, I think you are right on target with your approach. What you seem to be trying is cardio, weights and low carb. My advice to you is to make sure that the protien shake that you take is low in carb. There are a few brands that have between 0 and 2 grams of carb per scoop. Some of them are so high in carb you may as well be drinking Nestles Quick. Also, with respect to your veggies, be careful. Some are high in carb. Try to stick with lower carb veggies such as green leafy ones like letuce, romain is really tasty. Brocoli is great, cauliflower is great, cucumbers (a fruit actually) are just fine. Tomatoes, onions, peppers unfortunately are pretty high and should be avoided. Also stay away from ketchup because it is basically sugar.

FYI, after a year I was down to about 13% bf, 175. Now I am somewhere around 11 or 12% bf and am about 190. My gains are mostly muscle.

ECA will help you burn off more fat. I'd take it in the morning before cardio or before you workout.

Usually you would take ECA stacks at several interval during the day if the goal is fat loss. One before breakfast, one bofore lunch, and one before a workout. If you are making your own stacks use 25MG ephedrine 200MG caffine, and 325MG asprin. Be careful not to take one within 3 hours of bed time and don't take them within 3 hours of bed time or you will not be able to sleep.

ECA's work but I would hold off and utilize diet and cardio first, than when you start plateauing, than start the eca's like beenie stated.
