Also looking for an oatmeal cookie recipe that is healthy.
    Please need help.

    Thanks

i do the same as big texan, some honey to flavor it. honey is rich in anti-oxidants only 17gms carbs no fat. just use it sparringly. also i like to take some ground cinnamon and put it in the oatmeal.

I like to add half a cinnamon stick to the water as it boils. I also add splenda for my sweet tooth. Lastly, as a treat, if I have any left over rice in my cooker I will add it to my oatmeal. Sort of like an oatmeal/rice pudding combo.

I don't add any refined sugars or dairy. I use a small amount of sugar twin and a teaspoon of natural peanut butter (for good fats)

I saw this somewhere a while back, it's good IMO.

Take a cup or so of raw oats and 6 egg whites and put em in a blender. Blend for a few seconds. Fry em like pancakes and serve w/no sugar jam. Very good for breakfast. Sometimes I'll add some of that butter flavoring also.

I like this method too, 1 Packet of equal is good for me. I also like raisins, mushed banana, sugar free jelly, and some PB. They all make it good.

I have (had) an oatmeal coookie recipe made with white beans instead of shortening - was pretty healthy as far as cookies go. I'm currently searching for the recipe...if i don't post it by next week...someone bump this or remind me -

As far as oatmeal, cinnamon and sweet&low...although I'll be trying the natty PB add in tomorrow - never thought of that...but now i can't wait to try...
