most healthy nut?
looking for something thats good for snacking and will buy a 50lb bag or two to keep me out of trouble what is the best as far as fiber, protien, carbs etc.? Im thinking almonds but getting your opinion..
anyone know where to get bulk cheap?

this is kind of ironic but i seen a 25# bag at work today. Bought from a feed store and cost $28 dollars. I never seen a bag of pn that big. Sounds like its pretty common item at any feed store!

Cyc, there isn't a farmer's market near you? A place where all the local farmers go to sell there produce. There's one down the road from my house.................you can everything under the sun and tons of it.

im in NYC - there are several places I am looking at that sell it in 30, 50 and 100lb bags - wonder if roasting damages the values any? no salt of course

I'm not sure if you have a chinatown or little italy, you can most likely get some really cheap stuff there.

Pheedno, hard to believe but I don't know that we have one of those here.....and this is Florida for crying out loud. We do have bugs...........lots of them. Tell you what I'll send you all the bugs you want if you'll send fish to me. hahahaha

I don't like bugs. They are not as revolting, but close to roaches. My worst fear is to be stranded on an island with nothing but roaches to eat for survival. I'd probably just kill myself with a big rock or try to get eaten by a shark.
