    raw oatmeal

Just wondering if anyone ever put raw oatmeal in a shaker bottle with protein and drank it.

It doesn't seem to mix too well and I'm wondering if it's hard on the gut... meaning hard to digest and doesn't just go through your system instead.

anyone have any ideas of what to do? I wouldn't mind having some complex carbs before my workouts, but want to keep it tight since I'm dieting for a comp.

    Thanks in advance

I eat raw oats all the time, when I mix them with water and protein in my shaker. It's not hard on my system at all, as long as I drink it with water. I find it to be quick, easy, and downright delicious.

I do it all the time. It doesn't mix consistently, but you just swirl it around before you take a gulp

    mmmm mmmm good

sweet... thanks for the info guys. I add a cup of uncooked oatmeal to my egg whites and cook that into a pancake twice a day already, but you can never have enough oatmeal
