    need help on a few things

    ok everyone knows winter is over for the most part this winter i went on a bulking cycle at 17% bf and i had my bf checked by a trianer at the gym yesterday he pulled on my skin hard enough to hurt he got reading of 22% i weight 276 and my lean bodymass is figureed out at almost 220 but i was wondering if loose skin will couse your bf to be higher i have a few strech marks on my lower back and hips would that cause it to read a little higher beocuse i dont think he did it right i dont look fat i look just big and bulkly and he is always wanting me to sign up for his personal trianing which cost 350.00 for 6 weeks here are my stats

    chest 54 in
    arms 19 cold
    legs 30 in
    waist 39.5

    i just started my diet which is a zigzag diet which meens on days i train my carbs are a little higher which is about 400 carbs on triaining daysand about 300 on non training days and 300 grams of protien and around 3000 to 3500 calories a day and i just started doing cardio in the morning on a empty stomach my carb sources are coming from oatmeal,pasta,baked yams
    i will be cycling clen ,fina,prop,eq for 15 weeks just to keep gains

    First off the calipers used for testing bodyfat have many flaws and are not ver accurate. If I was you I would just take a look in the mirror each day and weigh yourself 2-3 times a month. That way you log your physique changes throughout your cycle. And if you absolutely have to know your bodyfat %, then get the water testing done as it is one of the most accurate ways of depicting bodyfat.

    body fat testing is an OK form to measure progress...though being a trainer i think that it's more of a selling point to keep people purchasing your sessions because you are giving them numeric data to show progress.

    www.bodybuilding.com has a good formula that gives you a RMR number using the average of 6 or 7 different formula's including Harris Benedict.

    Once you find your RMR go to www.fitday.com to find your daily maintenance calorie number and subtract 500 for it. this is what i do and it works well for me.
