how are you eating it ? straight out of the can ?
i mix it with light mayo and throw in cranberry sauce, but at first it used to be out the can, i dunno if i can handle it anymore,

i can't eat it out of the can. too nasty.
sometimes i pour it in a bowl and mix it with cottage cheese.
other times i mix it with miracle whip and make a sandwich. also put between some lunch-meat to kill some of the flavor.

Man i ate that much Tuna in my life I think they have my picture with a big "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE" sign on a few rocks on the bottom of the ocean... I have to take my time off it and eat sardines or shrimp, believe me too much tuna is bad for you because of the mercury factor... Try taking some time away from it and substitute with some other type of fish.
other fishtuna is the only thing i can handle haha ,shrimp is good lots of sodium
hmm i dunno i guess il get that teriyaki chicken breast they sell at cosco im tear that up
what i do is get a big scoop out of the can put it in my mouth thenslug it down with some water works great,can eat a whole can in about a minute
yea, mouthful with water and it washes down....perfect for me
solid chunk white albacore... tastes like chicken
mercury is a myth...your body can handle it no problem...i like tuna sandwitches substatuting the bread with begals...begal sandys are awesome and much more superior to bread...haha but thats me...
my buddies mixes it with salsa...i havent tried it...but he likes it...
also, mixing it with Ultra low fat is like 0.4 gs of fat per TS...i go with that.

I swore i seen on CNN and other news broadcasts about the whole mercury content of tuna, They use smaller tuna for canned tuna which would contain less mercury but if your eating 7 or 8 cans a week and doing this week after week it would eventually build up. Mind you i was eating 10 or 12 cans a week for a few years and never had a problem... But I don't think the mercury comment is a myth because it's in all larger fish like Swordfish, I just think some people would be more sensitive then others to mercury.Originally Posted by Latimus
