    Pasta?

Is it a good source of carbs, or not? Or should I hold out on the pasta til like a cheat day or something?

If you are dieting down hold off on the pasta until a cheat day. It is a high glycemic carb and that is not what you are looking for.

Yup, hold off. It's high glycemic, processed white flour, and the gluten in it actually tends to bloat most people and contribute a thick-skinned appearance.

if your trying to cut stay away as the above posts state. if you are bulking, the heavy carbs may come in handy. ive had great success with loading on pasta while iam bulking.

Depending on your goals 100% whole grain pasta is availabe and I think slightly better, 6grams of fiber in one seving. Again depends on if you are getting ready for a show or just the beach.

I thought whole wheat pasta was around the 50s on the GI chart? At least that's what I've seen. Maybe the charts were wrong.

Bro, As a full blooded Italian the hardest thing, yet best thing I did for my diet was give up on the pasta! But I do treat myself from time to time and usually around the Holidays!!!!!
