QV is the name of an old, old UGL that was notorious for high BA content. This is probably another UGL that decided to put that name on their label.

Yes sir, high benzyl alcohol % is undesirable at a minimum. For homebrew, I used 2% max unless dealing with hormone bases. Most pharma test contains around .9%, but they have a clean environment.
Pretty sure some of the old QV was 5% BA.
