UGL - Interesting read before trying a new source

Found this nice little article in the medical literature. Has some pics as well. It’s good read before trying out a buddy’s gear or a new UGL that no one has heard of. Not sure why when you click the link it takes you to page 2 of the article but it does. Page selected is at bottom left of page so scroll to page 1 to start from beginning.

Can you imagine how condescending and dickish the average medical staff would be if you came in like that? Almost makes it not worth it unless it was life threatening.

I'd say that's pretty damn life threatening. You'll go septic at that point.

Wow, sounds like someone has had a bad experience with medical treatment. I don’t think any of the medical staff I know would be anything like that - more like concerned about treating the guy. Btw, the guy had a great outcome if you look at the pics. It was a great referral to get him to a surgical speciality.

    Really?
100% of the doctors I have ever been to would be giving speeches about how it was gonna kill me and how wrong it was.

I had doctors chastise me for getting stomped by a bull, blowing my had up with black powder, ephedrine, energy drinks, breaking my hands punching stuff, swinging off the roof of a house on a rope in a tree and breaking the arch of my foot, gangrene...

Its like they think I am dangerous.
They are profiling I tell ya...

"Stop punching things! We are gonna screw your knuckles together!"

    "Why would you do that!?"

"You cant fuck around with explosives!"

"You have to bandage and sterilize!"

"Why didn't you come in last week!?"

"This is gonna hurt like hell but maybe you wont do that again!"

"How in the hell do you get a wasp in your ear!?"

    "HOLD HIM DOWN"

    PSSSHHH...

You know this is something I really don't know about but am interested in learning how long it would take for MUSCLE to regenerate if it was literally cut out.

I've had many injuries over the years where parts of my skin was ripped off, like 3 inches long 2 wide was the worst and that completely grew back over 2.5ish months. Also would be interesting how anabolics clen growth hormone insulin etc would accelerate the process of muscle REGENERATION, I would imagine they would accelerate it by 10x or more if we look at how quickly they grow new muscle

    Well that's quite an understatement.

My personal problems with them aside they practically are responsible for turning my mother into a vegetable from the fucking percocet. To say I cant stand the average doctor would be putting it extremely lightly.

I'm not surprised his outcome was fantastic - assuming there was no infection running around his body and he was allowed to recover the body generates skin fast as fuck. I've lost and grown back so much skin to labor accidents it's hilarious, im like a fucking snake shedding it's skin.

I am not a fan of doctors.
They prescibe blockbuster drugs and never really acess anyone for what things are. They just google the symptoms if its a gen prac and specialists specialize in whats hot at the time.

I have had coversations with some specialists that were absolutely disgusting.

I picked a gastroenterologist apart in front of one of his patients. I am a dumbass redneck that knows very little but just enough to make most doctors look like morons within a few minutes.

Then again though its not just doctors or medical people. Most people are just collecting a paycheck and have no heart or fervor for what they do beyond sending patients through months of unnecessary testing to generate revenue. Its about the same as my chiropractor saying, "can you come back in a few days?"

Healthcare is the most messed up system in the US.

I take that last part back... I forgot the judicial system.

Also forgot how I have never seen a medicine prescribed according to its half life.

I support people and their right to opinions of any/all professions. I just think if they are going to tow that line they should stay the fuck out of the ER and other clinics. Let the trustworthy nurse practitioners (with no basic anatomy or pharmacology classes just for a start) treat the general public, and let the naturopaths (who lobbied for practice rights to prescribe mainstream medications, including opiates) and the homeopaths and the chiropractors heal the world. More power to ‘em.
The most dangerous people on the planet are the ones who don’t know what they don’t know.

Thats fine but if the law allowed it and I could write my own scripts I would and I would do a better job of it 99% of the time.

Doctors are great at hardware. Once it becomes a genetic or software type issue they are correct about 50% of the time. Its like watching a dealership mechanic shotgun parts at a check engine light.

I took my brother into an ER exhibiting all the signs of a stroke and unable to speak, 27 skull fractures less than a month old, progressive neuropathy, bleeding on the brain, deaf in one ear, and they observed him.

Sent him home with antibiotics and a diagnosis of an ear infection.

I almost went to jail that night. I assure you I do not go to an ER unless its do or die and you would be suprised what I call do or die.

    Instance #2

Brothers twin girls had missed too many days of school. He told them go in and cough and tell them it is difficult to breathe at times.

Well fuck me... Turns out they both had chronic bronchitis and left with scripts and inhalers.

99% of doctors are like 99% of people out there and fucking suck at their job.

    Google, script pad, bye bye.

    I could go on forever.

Personally I think followers that worship doctors like some kindd of saint need to stay the hell out of the ER.

Have met some great nurse practitioners.
One was trying to cut living tissue off my hand with scissors and no local one time. That was a shit show.

Agreed. That’s why we need single payer healthcare.
