Hi, apart from diet and good nutrition, are there any natural supplements/ tips for lowering bp naturally. My doc says I am in a range that does not require intervention, but could do with bringing down a bit, on waking 125/70 average, 140/80 but on occasions rises to 145/95. Will test e, raise bp to higher levels, Dickster.
Some ideas that I am personally doing so this isn't bro science or hearsay, I'm getting regular BT's every 6 weeks while I try these and check my BP at home. I'm also experimenting with some of the other protocols on here, a mix basically of http://forums.steroid.com/supplement...ighlight=amino and the gdevine's supplements thread. On to the suggestions (these work!):
2g Arginine, 3G Citrulline morning, evening, b4 bed (one of those 3 should fit in as pre workout, when it has the most benefit) as laid out in Austinite's Amino Acids thread. Increases vascularity by huge leaps. Takes a little time but the extra vessel tissue creates a larger overall blood vessel capacity, which lowers your BP. Test will increase blood volume, so they cancel each other out so to speak whn on cycle but I've ben doing it for about 2 or 3 weeks now and notice a big change in vessel size and BP is down a bit. I imagine that will continue. I see no reason why it wouldn't.
3-5mg Cialis 1x morning, 1x evening Proven by medical studies to decrease both diastolic and systolic. ('Adcirca' is Tadalafil but for CHD/BPH at 20-40mg daiily - 6-10mg total per day is safe) My BP avg was 131/80 as of yesterday after doing it for about 4 or 5 weeks now. When I was a big fat arse last year my BP was usually >150/100. I wasn't working out at all and had a McDonalds diet though, which I have changed as of December 2012. All of these things are factors I''m sure but every little bit... it adds up. I am taking Propranolol / Metoprolol depending on what the pharmacy has and what my nsurance feels like covering when i refill it but low dose, 50mg. My doc thinks I'll be able to come off it soon.
Yes, test e will raise BP by about 5-10 mmHg depending on other factors. This can be controlled somewhat by drinking lots of water and cutting sodium intake. AI/SERM's also help keep it under control from the test via keeping E2 in check.
