What is the youngest Age for HRT

Hi all just a couple of quick questions.

What is the youngest age you have heard of someone needing HRT.
I am someone who is relatively fit, had never done steroids or pro hormones. Earlier this year i was feeling really shitty for a long time, no sex drive (drove my partner nuts, was i cheating, did i think they where no longer attractive, etc ,etc, etc.) Well I finally went to the Dr when I stopped having the need or desire for self love and my total T at 9.00am in the morning was 282. Went to endo after waiting for appoinement 4 weeks, He procrastinated, said 282 was not to bad and that he may prescirbe androgel, after more tests and that I was probably too fat which was causing my problem, Im not skinny but I weighed 200 pounds at 5'11". Well they drew blood and made me wait (my sex life, personal life was getting worse) and I was not sure the endo woould give me the gel. So I contacted a HRT clinic out of Florida (they were pretty dodgy) and ordered 200mg of Test cyp for 10 weeks and 200mg of Deca for 10 weeks. Started feeling a hell of a lot better. Finally a week after I started giving myself shots my endo calls and tells me my total T dropped to 223 and he was starting me on androgel.

I am just interested to hear other peoples stories, I am not happy with my endo. I wonder what caused this situation. Now that I am giving myself injections and I feel relatively normal I do not want to stop but I do what medical care I believe and respect.


Oh now that I have finished 10 weeks of therapy I am going off for the prescribed time. I have spoken to the HRT clininc and we are upping my dose to 400 of T cyp and Deca a week. I feel great btw.

26 natural, I have seen 22 from abuse of as. That is why its best to to wait before taking as. Could you imagine that after abusing as since 15.That my friend messed up his hormones were now his body barely produces any test. And has to hrt until he dies. They tried everything and it would not come back. Sure he looked amazing but for the past 6 years he hasn't lived a normal life. To top it he doesnt even bodybuild anymore. That is why its so important for young people to stay away from as.

You made a mistake by ordering gear for an HRT clinic, you should of stuck with the Dr and did the tests, there could be something wrong with your pituitary gland. That Dr would of run all the tests to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it.

Believe me being on HRT for the rest of your life can be a drag. Knowing you have to injection test to be normal, gets old fast.

I have recently found a DR that deals with HRT locally (yes he accepts my insurance, so he is not in this for the money). So now we are trying to get myself sorted.

This is good because some tumors can generate estrogen or way worst, progesterone on their own and this can be the reason for suppression of your natural testosterone. You should look at all of this before starting a program.

I am 21. First attempt at hrt over 1 year ago. I had blood work done at age 18...total test at 224. I had followup work done a year ago...total test at 218, free test at 14.

6'2"
weigh:185 pre AS/215 peak/198 current

I ran 1 cycle of T400 and Deca at 1ml/wk.ea. for 9 weeks.
Obviously this affected my natural test production. However, my first and only AS use was 2 years after the time I was first diagnosed with low T. The second set of results confirming the originals were taken 6 months after the cycle so its safe to say I have always been this way (felt like God on cycle, and goldi-lox post cycle but other than that I feel lethargic and pretty much blah all the time and I have no friggin idea how to fix it.)

My endocrinologist pretty much ran me out of his office for the AS use and said I had done this to myself and that everything would return to normal with time.

Well, its 1 year later...14 mos actually...and I am no better.

anyone have any suggestions? I've tried 6 OXO for a month and I loved it but its pricey and I hear it can't be used long term. Any knowledge on long term T-boosting naturally?
I was prescribed 1ml/month depo-T for HRT but it made my balls feel like they were vacuum sealed and absolutely useless (kinda like on cycle) so I have stopped taking it. Never tried any trib-products but I am intersted cuz the price/dose is friendlier and the sides are nothin.


Also, mother had a pituitary tumor as a teenager which led to some concern but my MRI came back negative. I've also read about a link between childhood mononucleosis and adult Hypothyroidism. I had mono when I was 5 and the people who knew me then as hell on wheels said it was like "my fuse got burnt out" by the mono and never came back to normal. Doctor friend noticed that I was never energetic after that and has been my current physician helping me with this (not the endo).

Luckily for myself there is no chance of me having kids in anywhere near the future. Having exogenous test introduced into your body can stop production of sperm, but do a search for how many aas users on many boards have gotten their wives/girlfriend pregnant whilst on long heavy doses of AAS.

Plus I am not an endocrinologist but I am sure having low levels of T will also slow things down when it comes to spermies.

Oh and Boulder Beast my only words are find a new endo or a Dr that specializes in male HRT (not anti aging or rejuvenation), A good sign is if they accept insurance, because then you know they are doing it not for the money.

He or she should understnad that a male in his 20's should have a T level that feels right for him (i.e. mid to high normal). My doctor also does not think much of androgel, he uses a local pharmacy to compound a higher concentration to Testosterone cream, so that you get higher doses with using a lot less cream.


BTW at the moment I am still injectioning myself with Testosterone and Deca that I got from the anti aging clinic (My Dr does not like the idea long term, but is happy for me to use medication purchased up) and feeling great. We plan once I can drop my body fat (currently 20 - 24 percent) to slowly decrease my usage of Testosterone to see if my body will produce more naturally , although he thinks I will probably always need some source of external T.

Negative... I went on HRT at 23 and been keeping an eye on my sperm count... my boys are fine. Alittle small... but sperm count is above normal.

This really amazes me! Why does everyone think HRT causes permanent infertility. Thats like saying birth control pills cause permanant infertility in women. No one here has trouble believing that test production comes back after short term heavy androgen use, so why would it be any different when it comes to longer term moderate use? Its not any different. When people say HRT is forever it means if you want to keep enjoying the benifits of HRT, you have to keep doing HRT. It doesn't mean once you take 200mg of test a week for three months you'll never be able to produce testosterone again. Seriously, if you're going to make claims like that I'd like to see someone talk about a mechanism here. Desensitizing your hypothalamus to androgens would lead to higher levels of gonadotropins upon discontinuation, not lower levels. So whats left then? low levels of LH are somehow bad for your endocrine system? It didn't hurt us when we were kids..............
Lets not confuse desensitizing your testicles to gonadotropins with supraphysiological doses of HCG with androgen induced endocrine malfunction. If someone would like to convince me othewise with a logical argument I'd love to hear it cause I'm getting tired of being the only one who disagrees with this idea.

Wasn't aware anyone was making claims, simply trying to clear up the myth behind HRT. I would think that if coasting at 125-250mg/wk of Test between cycles would keep your natural levels shutdown eventually causing a lower sperm production.

I definetly would see a specialist, particularly an A4M certified physician who specializes in TRT. Living with low testosterone is far more a health concern than fertility. Heart disease, cancer, alzheimers, etc are all results of living with low test. As for the fertility, HCG will allow you to father a child regardless, as long as the Leydig cells are not damaged (Primary Hypogonadism). At the HRT clinic I work at, plenty of men have successfully done it.

hmm, this thread is very interesting. iv alwyas wondered if HRT cause infertility. like say you start in your mid 20's and want kids when your' 32.......id think those little spermies would be undetectable. good read

BTW, Deca has NO place in legitimate HRT. It will cause more damage to you endocrine system, since it is a progestin.

I would stick with TRT with Hcg, DHEA and proper estrogen balancing. www.allthingsmale.com is a good place to start.

ordering hormones from these "fill out an online form and we'll send you gear" is NOT a good place to start as far as HRT. Even if you are interested in gear, you would be better off establishing optimal health with proper, monitored HRT, then add gear later, once you know that you are healthy-IMO

I have said it before in another one of my posting and I'm glad you mentioned it too. Too many times guys are assuming that they can do there own HRT/TRT and haven't even had a proper diagnosis. You post makes a lot of sense. Hope they read it and consider what your saying before self medicating.

Thank you, I agree with you 100%. Notice how the threads that are health preserving and educational get little hits and rarley get 'stickied'. My goal is to bring this info to the masses. This will provide longevity to HRT and provide proper research useful not only to those on HRT but to AAS athletes as well!

i agree 100% i have been on hrt for about a year now and im only 20 im curently taking 0.33 iu of growth hormone + lipoderm test cream LOW DOSE + thyroid extract 3.5 grain and im felling awsome my sperm count is still as good as it was a year ago its all in the blood work and doses.

it doesnt matter how old you are if theres room to work with based on the blood tests then you can go on hrt with me i didnt have any major problems however the docter said we can still use some very low doses of the above 3 and that will help in in both anti aging and athletic performane while not interfering with my natural production of the above three hormones.

in closing anyone who knows a litle about hrt knows this
1.its not a quick fix AS cycle its a long term therpy
2.you should not be experiancing any negatives from your therapy if you are then most likly you need a new hr therapest
