Clomiphene for use in treating hypogonadism

A little background on myself.

Age 25, combat vet, engaged, 5'8" currently 200 pounds 19% fat (formerly 242 pounds at 10-12% fat), been off all AAS for 18 months, and my production of FSH is still nill, so is my Testosterone level.

4 months ago I had it checked and it was 114 ng/dl, four days ago it was 128 ng/dl, NOT a much improvement.

My doc is wiling to Perscribe Testosterone replacemnt therapy, BUT he also said that because my hypogonadism is secondary, he could also put me on CLOMIPHENE to raise my test levels. This would give me the ability to have children down the line.

So here are the options.

1.) tesosterone injects,

2.) Clomid

3.) tesosterone - until I want to have kids, then add in Clomiphene to help raise Sperm counts.

Now here are my questions for the knowlagable here:

1.) How much can Clomiphene raise test levels? I would like to be at 800-1000 ng/dl seeing that I am physically active and 25 years old.

2.) If Clomid can raise it to this level and keep it there, how long will it be effective? Could I saty on it indefinately as I could Test, or would its effectiveness eventually stop?

3.) If Colimid could not be used indefinately, or would not raise test levels high enough, could I use 200mg wk of test indefinately and after a few years effectively use clomid to raise my sperm count?
