Doctor Shopping

What exactly is doctor shopping? I don't understand how shopping for a doctor can be a crime. I've seen a few doc's lately and want to make sure I don't meet up with Rush

Dr shopping is where you are going to multiple Dr's and getting scripts from them so that you will have more meds then 1 Dr would prescribe.

so when does it become illegal...when you have 2 RX of the same med for the same diagnosis....or even if say one doc prescribed androgel and then later another doc prescribed test cyp on a second opinion for the same diagnosis of low T...and the patient continued getting refills on both meds...this would be a violation of the Limbaugh Law?

Technically that would be illegal....I think. Test is a controlled substance. Why even mess with that? You could end up in a cell with old Rush listening to him ramble on for hours at a time about his political crap!

Places like Oasis are so easy to deal with. Just fill out the medical history and fax it back with a copy of bloodwork. They are VERY flexable and will work with you on dosage. This way you are 100% legal with a doctors script to cover your butt.

No freekin kidding....I guess I'll put a kybosh to the gel...then I won't have to see that biatch endo again....i haven't refilled since starting the cyp so as long as i don't try to refil the gel, sounds like I'll escape the dragnet
