May have to HRT questions about best doc?

I may have to HRT I have been shut down for 6 weeks and I am in week 3 of PCT

I had my test tested the other day and I am in the low normal range
which means for me I have ZERO sex drive.

No morning wood nothing!

I am 40 years old If I do not get better in the next month or so I have
two doctor choices.

1. Doctor #1 will only give me a test shot once or maybe twice a month.
He is very conservative


2. Doc #2 will write a script from anything from Oxycontin to Cialis to Test you name it as long as he is not going to get himself in trouble.

He said I could have test cyponate shots once or twice a week and he would give me a six month supply.


To me the DOC #2 sounds way better because he will give me as much test as he can without me getting gyno or whatever.


However some people say he is a quack because he is so liberal with writing scripts.

I have heard on this board that people get better results with HRT with weekly shots.

ANY ADVICE?

I choose Doc #2 because you'll be able to have the choice of putting any of those meds in your body.

With doc #1 you won't have access to a wide variety of medicine/treatments and will be limited to what HE'S comfortable with.

Dr 2 indeed. The doctor is there to help you, not run your life for you. Listen to doctors advice, don't take their orders.

I need someone to give me some insight into this.
yes I have a doc that will give me as much of this as he can without going to jail I am sure of that.

However I do not know what I need?

I can tell you I am shut down.

5 weeks of cycle of tren and test eth.

I am 3 weeks into pct and no improvement.

I am willing to suffer a few more weeks but after that it is just pointless.
He told me if I am not better in 30 to 60 days I am probably going to need HRT

What I need you guys to tell me is what should I ask for?

My pharmacist tells me that people only get one shot of 200 ml a month because it last all month

Doc#1 said one shot maybe two

My Liberal doc says once or twice a week

I would like to feel like I am 20 or close to it no doubt but I have no idea what I need.

If I get on I will be replacing my own test forever but I want to enjoy the experience libido,muscle,energy wise etc

I do not want to screw myself up because with doc#2 he will also give me percocet for back pain and anything else so I have to be my own advocate to not overdo it.

What dosages have gotten guys on here the best results.

What we are all trying to say is it's better to have access to more but you will have to find your own dose and level that is going to resolve your symptoms as with any medication.

Doc #1 sounds like his hands are tied and a lot of us have all ran that course and moved on from there.

To give you and idea, most HRT doses I see on this board range from 100-200MG test a week. I myself have been feeling good with 200mg Test/wk with arimidex to prevent my estrogen levels from increasing with the added testosterone.

Well it did help! I just need to have something to start with.
When I go to see a doc it stresses me out. When I think of having to go through weeks of trying out one weak dose after another in a effort to get
to the right dose it pisses me off!

So I think I if I do not bounce back asap I will go to Doc#2 and ask for
the 200ml of test cyp divided into two doses and maybe ask for arimadex.

Does your doc prescribe arimadex or do you just get it yourself in a effort to control sides?

I thought that the test had to be pretty high to cause gyno or anything like that.

my estrogen levels went up (out of range) with 300 mg test/wk for only a couple a weeks and when i was off for 2 weeks it tapered back down to a nice low normal range...after going back on test 200 and deca 150, my estro again went up out of range so for me and anti E is necessary but again we are all different...was your estro tested along with your test with that last test that you mentioned...at some point you'll want to take a look at that and keep it monitored as with all your levels...you should have of course your PSA(prostate) and liver values looked at as well....some docs will need to feel the prostate b4 starting test replacement..

i feel you with the stress part....but look on the bright side...you have a doctor that IS willing to treat you...there are some that WON'T.

And yes, my uro prescribed arimidex thank goodness.

Your dose that you say you want to start doesn't sound unreasonable....it is a high "TRT" dose at least to start but keep an eye on your blood work as often as you can.

I had everything tested and it was four weeks since my last test shot and two weeks into pct. Estrogen levels normal everything normal EXCEPT test was in the LOW normal range which is the same as non existent for me.

I am 3 weeks into pct now and man I have to tell you. I feel as depressed and shitty as I have ever felt. I know it is a chemical thing because I am not depressed very often. It is just tough to think that because I did tren that I am now having to comtemplate HRT. Maybe if I was younger this would not be happening. I know my doc did not seem like he thought I would bounce back. It is a really unreal feeling to have your test gone.

The good news is I have insurance and the good news is that without insurance I pay $50 a month for 200 ml a week so it is not going to break my bank.

I just wonder what I am to do if I my doc passes away and I have to find another doctor who is liberal.

I wonder if it is easier to stay on a certain prescription if you go to another doc and you show him you are getting weekly injections?

I am sure this day would have come sooner or later anyway because my test would eventually dropped off. I have prostate problems but those are controlled with saw palmetto.

I just found out my mom has diabetes today and she is 70 so when shit hits the fan it does at once.

I seriously do not know how many more weeks I can go before I go see the doc about HRT

I am not gettling laid and worse my desire is gone.
At least before I could beat off when everything else went to shit.

Anyway like you said "be glad I have a doc who will treat me.
I would rather start high and back off then start at a low dose and go up.

What put you on HRT was it juicing or just something that happened?

I was training and following a good diet (nothing BB like, but good foods and moderate calories) and plateued with my fat/weight loss...felt fatigued during day....depressed mood and read that it could be possible symptoms of Low T. Sure enough first test came back 'round 275 total test and my endo offered me androgel. That's how I started on TRT...As for what caused my low T...couldn't tell you if it was even ever very high...I battled with being overweight off and on my whole life starting at puberty. I did do a cycle without PCT when I was 20 as well. So I never had any levels tested until last year at age 36.
TRT has really made my feel better physically and am glad I started.
I look forward to all that the anti-aging benefits have to offer.
We have a lot of quality years left at our age thanks to modern medicine. Be thankful and take care of moms :)

I think most of us older cats can self regulate our dosages. 150-250 mg a week is probably what most need. Regulate it through paying attention too mood and libido.I'd pick a dose and stay on it for a few weeks to allow some homeostasis to occur,then make a small change if needed. once you feel right you could get blood done and see what numbers make you feel good. I'm convinced the anti - estrogens are helping as much as the test. I love my doc,he is wide open to suggestion,sometimes suggesting an even better plan than what I can dream up. I feel like a kid in a candy store sometimes. I can't wait for my season to start; I think doing extra 50mg of prop on the mornings,or maybe the night before a big climb or helicopter drop might be just the ticket.
