Orthopedic surgeon made a strange comment
I tore my rotator cuff about 7 weeks ago and I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon. On our consultation I told him I was on TRT 200 mg a week and his response...
"That might have been why you tore your rotator cuff."
I explained that 200 mg of testosterone is only to replace the testosterone my body doesn't produce.
Are these Dr's that damn biased that they don't understand simple physiology?

Doctors are not trained to think objectively, they are trained to follow a flow chart of symptoms.
Now if you would have said Im doing like 1000mg of test then yeah he would have a point. He should also relies that having low test could also have been a factor in your injury

You should call him on his BS. Tell him you would like for him to explain in detail how the test caused this problem. Play dumb and tell him you are concerned.
