Need help reading and understanding my blood tests

If anyone can help me make heads or tails of my blood test please let me know. I had the works done 8-24-06 and I'm going in 2 weeks to do follow up tests and I would like to be able to see and understand the differences between the 2. Just let me know what you want me to post and I will or I can send a PM. Thanks

What's the question? Try listing the results and you'll get better feedback.

The report should come with ranges but your Test levels are at the midpoint of the range

Sorry I should have mentioned this, but your age and maybe your symptoms if you're looking for TRT would be helpful.

Why I say that is you're levels aren't terribly low but it could still be really low for you. That's why I'd suggest anyone of the age of 25 get their test and hgh levels checked every year or every couple years. It will give doctors a better baseline for the future.

I have been under my docs TRT program for about 5 months. I'm 34. My test levels before I went to this doc was below 100. I have been battling sevre depression for most of my life and after taking every depression drug on the market I was turned to this doc and he has me on 200mg test cyp a week, 1 B12 injection of 1000mcg every other week, 90 mg Armour Thyroid every day and .5 mg of Anastrozole every other day.

I'm going to ask how much more can he give me and keep me in the healthy range. I did this cause I needed it medically but the results have been great. I hate to sound greedy but I would like more.

Hey, I forgot to mention this. I found out that my doc is compounding my test with other stuff. I'm going to find out what it is and I will let you know. So that means my 200mg of test is not really 200mg of just test.

As Kale put it...WOW...200mg a week and you're in the low 500's? Has any of your low test symptoms been alleviated?

One thing to try is a 100 mg dose 2 times a week and see if that evens it out? I would think at 500 you'd be feeling better, but I would add that everyone is different. Maybe your levels need to be in the low 1000's to feel normal? (Whatever normal is.)

I would also suggest trying HGH to augment your schedule.

I know how that feeling is. When i was diagnosed I was in the low 200's and I felt like garbage.

    Maybe some others have thought?

Your triglycerides look pretty darn high, your HDL looks low, your glucose looks high, and hemo looks a bit high as well....this of course if they are the same reference ranges that they appear to be close to.
I believe Wally, I already posted about your test levels in another thread?
And, you were fasting when you did this bloodwork, right?

BTW, "normal" is a setting on a washing machine, not a test level, IMNSHO. I had a doc once, when I asked, who said my t levels were perfectly normal for my age. I asked him why it wasn't okay to have t levels that were perfectly normal for a young man 1/3 my age, and he ran out of answers.

    Wally,
Your TSH looks a little high also. One thing to remember, there is more than just getting your test levels up in order to feel well. Have your Doc check E2, thyroid, adrenals, glucose, SHGB, IGF, etc. BALANCE is key!!!!
