Deciding if I have HCM.
http://www.clevelandclinic.org/heart...cm/default.htm
Which is a thickening of the interior muscle in the heart.
Towards the end of my 6 week cycle this time, was doing a cardio workout and barely got off of it. Extreme heart rate, naseau, dizzy, anxiety. Was sick for 2 days.
Went to my doc and got checked out. ECG looked ok except for some stress to the heart. He is sending me to a cardiologist for a stress test and some other ones.
Took a week off to rest and tried some bench pressing. After one heavy set, I got dizzy, weak , naseau, extreme, extreme anxiety, numb fingers, tightness in the neck, all the classic symptoms except chest pain was low.
Had to quit, barely made it upstairs (my gym is in my basement). Has such anxiety I was shaking, numb fingers.
I decided to go to the hospital where they did all the tests. ECG showed fine but heartbeat a bit irregular. Bloodwork showed no heart attack. X-ray showed clear and fine.
So now I am stuck how this could happen after one heavy set of bench pressing. Needless to say, I can't work out until I see the cardiologist and such in about 2 weeks.
So now I am wondering it my steriod use (many years of one cycle a year) has created HCM to where the heart if if has to work hard all of a sudden creates this effect? I know the cardiologist should have many answers, but 2 weeks is a long time to ponder it.
This came on all of a sudden which makes it all the stranger.
Anyone ever hear of this happening?
I hope this is in the right forum.

Hi Natureboy I had the same thing like 3 years ago, then I took 6 months off. through this period I didn't touch anything. Forgot to mention that I've done a lot of cycles before this came on. Anyway still looking for something that will keep me away from the anxiety while on roids. I've just tried HGH and winny and at the begging of the cycle had the same issues. Still don't want to give up. Did the docs put you on some medicine for it? would like to help if I can.

Thanks for the response. I am going for all the echocardiograms, stress tests, etc this week. My ECG has a small dip on it, but that could be "athlete's heart" where the heart is enlarged from years of bodybuilding and completely normal.
If everything checks out, then wait until all the gear is completely out of me and see how I do, or get some anxiety medication from my doctor.
This type of anxiety does run in my family, I just have never had it, so it was a surprise. Most likely the test triggered it I just have never had problems in years of cycles. I am hoping that is all it is.

All the tests check out fine, stress test, echocardiogram etc. I basically was getting panic attacks from the gear. Been off 3 weeks now and feel fine again.
Just so strange because I had never had that in all my years of cycles. Not sure why now.
Don't know if I could ever go on again, unless I had something to counteract it.

So everything is cool now. Don't start any anxiety meds if you feel OK now just stay away from any anxiety pills. I did this mistake to start taking anti-anxiety pills and it took me 2 years to get rid of them. I am probably in the same situation like you are but I would like to run gear cycles from time to time, all I just want is to be fine. Wonder how to prevent these anxiety attacks or whatever they are. If you hear anything please post it here. I am guessing that you want the same thing. At the same time my buddy is a PRO and he always says to me "just don't think about it... bla bla" I don't think about anxiety at all buy it just appears from nowhere and there is nothing I can do about it. Last time I felt like this I start running around, did about 50 push ups and finally start hitting myself in the chest, but the next day when I woke up I felt so stressed and I was thinking about some crazy staff like what if I get into a car accident or how miserable a human life is, which is totally insane thoughts. 3 days after everything was normal except my bad mood and I pretty much slept the hole day. Good luck. p.s. can't give up will have to keep trying. I am currently in a pretty good shape 245 lbs. and just finishing HGH cycle with some great results. I am happy about the HGH cause there are NO side effects like anxiety.

Yes, I don't want to start any anxiety pills. Especially since now the test has worked out of me, I have been totally fine.
I was taking Omnidren for my test at about 500mg a week along with 50mg winny tabs ED.
I think later, I may just try some cypinate I have at a low dose to see if it was just the Omnidren (which would be odd because in the past I used to take 750 a week of Omnidren and 75mg of Tren ED with no problems).
If not, then I guess it will be back to being natural.

Hey dude how are you now. Haven't heard anything from you. Do you get any panic attacks now? Let us know how are you feeling. Did you do any cycles after that. I was reading old posts and found this one. You know I was getting those panic attacks from the same gear isn't that funny. Yeah I was taking omni and dbol back then when I got the attacks. Anyway just wanted to say hi.

I tried after a two month layoff to only doing 100 mg of cypinate a week along with 50mg winny tabs about 4 days a week.
Still was having problems when on, day of injection. All in my head? Not sure. But knowing now that anxiety runs in my family and begins in the 30's the gear is most likely a contributing factor. Just keeping natural for now. Not sure what else I could do, maybe at 36 years old with such problems, time to keep it natural.

I'm sort of curious if this caused by a thyroid dump. I was just reading another thread about test causing imsomnia. I have a lot of sleeping problems due to chronic pain from a past surgery. I also bumped up my TRT a little (100mgs. -150mgs) to see if it would increase my energy. I have noticed a little more energy, but also more pain and insomnia. The reason I think this is related to thyroid is because it feels similar to when I tried Armour Thyroid. At times, it feels as if I am having some anxiety and can't sit still for hours, or stay awake all night long. I am going to an endo on the 18th, so hopefully he will be able to answer these questions. Anyway, good luck and I agree with the poster about not starting the anxiety meds. I started hydrocortisone on my own and finding it a bitch to get off.

Nature just try some orals. I think they will not get you anxiety. I don't know if running HCG all through the cycles will keep you out of trouble. You gotta do the research yourself. I am also trying to find something that doesn't cause anxiety but so fat found only HGH to work like that. I am thinking to try some tbol actually it's tplex itself.
