    Tongue lesion

I recently found a lesion on the back of my tongue. I went to the doctors and he asked me if I had ever done steroids . He said steroids can speed up tumor growth and cause cancer to spread quicker. My only cycles were sust 250mg a week for 7 weeks a year ago, and a short winny cycle a few months back. Anyone have any input. Im 24 250lbs.

did he do a biopsy to see if the lesion is cancerous or benign? then you will know for sure. steroids don't cause cancer but they can sure accelerate the growth of an existing carcinoma.

Another good reason for regular blood work and regular physical exams.

no he didnt biopsy it, im getting it out in a few weeks though. I had blood work done and all markers were ok then and that was like 4 months ago. I told him about the winny he said I didnt take enough to really make a difference.

    surgery is over

I got the surgery, it turned out to be a benign nervous tissue tumor. He said there is no know cause and gear is unlikely the cause.
