Came back from doc - test levels at 150!!!!!
I just went to an endocrinologist today and found out that my test levels are way low, but before my question, a little history.
Went to my doc originally in the end of June for gyno concerns...blood tests were run and he determined my levels were low, but nothing of concern. At the time I was just coming off of Mass Tabs. He also noted that my thyroxine levels were high. After that visit, I had gone back in for a prolactin test...everything came back normal.
So, today I go to a specialist and he notes that my test levels are not only low, but extremely low...based upon that initial test. He also confirmed that, yes, I have gyno for sure. He asked if i had taken anything (anabolics, creatine, protein, etc.), I said that I had never taken any illegal steroids ....just the stuff you could get at the store (pro-hormones) . I told him the last time I took "pro-hormones" was about a year and a half ago (the only thing I lied about). I also told him that I was cycling creatine right now and using protein to supplement my diet.
Now, on to the question. I have a blood test scheduled for tomorrow...or possibly the next day. What are the chances that my test levels are still low enough to warrant TRT? What should I do to ensure my levels are low. I do have some of the mass tabs available and I considered taking those for today and tomorrow and getting my blood work done on Wednesday. The doc also wants me to take the test at 8 a.m.
What do you guys think? I've read a few threads about not sleeping, drinking alcohol, and lowering my carb and fat intake. Can I get my test levels back down...if they've even come up at all?Last edited by bombguy; 08-06-2007 at 11:19 AM.

If your test levels are at 150 I doubt they are going to come back up to normal any time soon unless you run a solid PCT.
I’m in the same situation as you, my test levels are low and I aim to keep them like that until I get pout on hrt.
The best way to keep natural test levels suppressed is steroids (no test obviously), I’m running dbol and halo, this way I keep my test levels low and still able to maintain my muscle mass. A small dose is enough to keep you suppressed but I have decided to make a cycle out of it and run 60mg dbol and 40mg of halo. It’s not exactly a great cycle it’s more just to help me hold my mass and gain a little strength until I get on hrt.
I don’t see the point in going down the road of drinking and not sleeping to suppress test levels seems unhealthy and detrimental to training. If you do want to go down that route I’ve heard a high fat meal can also suppress test levels for a few hours.
But as I said I seriously doubt you test levels are going to jump up to normal any time soon without a good PCT

i'm sorry i don't know what mass tabs are. are they some kind of pro hormone? if so i would say they would be enough to keep your levels down.

Yes, Mass Tabs are a Pro-hormone/pro steroid ...I believe similar to Halodrol. What is the thought on taking the Mass Tabs for the next 2 days, remain training like I normally do, and increasing fat intake? I may possibly go do cardio the morning of the test as well. Any thoughts?
edit: just saw your second post

So, another quick question. I am going to get my bloodwork done tomorrow anyway, just to get it out of the way.
My question is, if the original bloodtest was done in the last week of June, what are the chances that my test levels have rebounded since then? My energy levels are still down and I have not made any gains from training lately.
Any guesses?

I'm surprised there was no response to my previous post. Either way, I went in today and did the blood test. With any luck, my test won't have rebounded over the past month and a half and the Doc will get me started on the TRT. He is also going to be prescribing something (Arimedex, Nolva, not sure yet) for my puberty caused gyno that I've been carrying around for about 15 years. He's opting for drug treatment for the gyno, as opposed to cosmetic surgery...he seems knowledgable and open-minded, so I trust him. I'll fill in as I find out more. My next appointment is on the 22nd and I have an MRI for a pituitary scan in the meantime.
Wish me luck!!
