    HCG for TRT

My doc has me on HCG for HRT. My test level was around 400.
    Script is for 250iu ED.
Anyone else with that type regime? If so, what are results?
Also should I cycle 2wks on/2wks off or something so as not to suppress my HPTA?

goals are simply to raise test levels.

I have not spoke to doc about cycling it as of yet. Have appt. as soon as new labs are in. Will ask then.

    thx for the bump.

It will up your level, but is not a good way to do it long term since it will desensitze your own production.

ive heard taking Vit e with your HCG , will help not desensitize...

250ED is OK, im thinking 400iu EOD would be better, less injects

That is the reason i want to raise the subject of cycling it.

Also wouldn't the alternative, test directly, shut down your production all together.

How were your blood levels before you started on TRT? Most people supplement their own testosterone to bring it back up to a level they had when they were younger. To answer your question about shutting down all production of test. Since their levels are low and for the most part "Shut Down," we use testosterone to bring it back up to normal levels. You sound as if your problem is a little different then mine, What is the actual diagnosis your doctor gave to you?

    Total test - 398, Free test - 92, Free and Weakly bound - 181. Age 40

Doc diagnosed andropause . The whole goal was to just raise test levels without shutting down natty production.

I am not about to contradict your doctor, you know him better than I do, but hcg will desensitize you over time. It will do what he wants short term, but replacement is the only long term solution.

What is his long range plan?

I'm not sure znak. I have only been on HRT since our first visit in July. (and have been off and on Test Anavar cycle since that time as well). I have a follow-up soon the recheck blood work and see where I'm at.
