Anyone stack Sust 250 and Testim gel?

Hey guys,

After getting my bloodwork (209 Total Test & 31 Free) my doc gave me script for Testim gel 50 mg.
I started Sust 250 once a week and the gel once a day.
Has anyone tried this combo together? I already feel a significant improvement in my recovery and it's only been 2 weeks.

i'm trying something similar with a once a week shot of test cyp and then days 6 and 7 I slather on 10mg gel ....works for me

I started using Androgel when I was 35-36 at two packets a day(total of 10grams of 1% test gel) because I had really low test levels and it really made a big difference for me, especially mentally and it got rid of my gyno.

yes, androgel worked for me alone as well...just i prefer once a week injections

Thanks guys! I really hate the gel, don't feel comfortable around the wife and kids. Wife hates the smell, even after I shower. But my insurance picks up the tab, so I'll stay on it.
JPK- Glad to hear you're doing well. So you only use the gel 2 times per week? If that's the case, I might try shooting my gear on Sat.'s and then only use the gel Thurs. and Fri. What do you think?

that's my exact regimine at the present...i had looked at the test cyp insert and test peak in the body around day 4 or 5 so i thought gel day 6 and 7 would supplement just fine

each 5mg packet is 50mg but approximately 5mg is supposed to be absorbed so each 5mg packet = 5mg of Test

I had read where only 1-10% of the gel was actually utilized by the body, between 0.5 and 5...not sure. You might want to read the insert with the testim gel and see if it gives any additional info..of course they are biased in their reporting.

i agree the dosage rec'd is an inexact science and that's why i keep using the word approximately but having used and read the inserts of both testim and androgel i believe that the doses are pretty close at least for what i am absorbing

Thanks again guys. I remember reading one of JPK's posts and he mentioned 7 days of gel = 35 mg test. Now I understand what you meant.

I don't feel it's plain HRT. I'm an ex-professional baseball player, train 4-5 days a week, coach baseball at the college level, etc. I checked into HRT so I could be as active as I want to be and as I need to be for my own personal mental, physical and emotional satisfaction. Not to mention I have four sons that want me to participate with their football, baseball and basketball teams.
I've backed off the gel to 2-3 times per week because I hate the stuff, but it works and my insurance pays for it.

it may be true it feels good, but it s not a safe long term dosage and definately not good for your health.

nah, 6 weeks wont be so bad if u dont have any coronary problems. just don t get used to it. the gel should be enuff to keep you withing normal range - or swirtch to injection and try to get to the higher end of the normal range.

I get a 200mg T-CYP injection every other week so on day 11,12,13,14 I apply the 1 pack of AndroGel. This is only until I get to do my own injections then It will be 100mg T-CYP every week and no AndroGel.

Once you can do self injections I would consider doing every second or third day. Much more stable blood levels.

If you are concerned about the frequent pinning, you can use a 30/31 guage. The draw isn't too bad if you have a 0.3/0.5 cc syringe. The smaller the syringe size the faster the draw when using the same sized guage needle.

Thanks guys. I recently switched to the Test e 200mg once per week and dropped the gel. I'm gonna run this for about 2 weeks and then go in and have my bloodwork done again (especially the est) and then make any adjustments necessary. Thanks again.
