Medco
Anyone get approved through medco for HGH. I got my test ok and I have access to a HGH script and I was wondering if they will approve it without me being a dwarf or something.

Well this is the issue. This disclaimer only comes up for HGH scripts not anything else.
Your plan provides coverage for this medication in certain situations. To determine if coverage is available, your doctor may request a coverage review by calling the toll-free number, 1-800-753-2851. Learn more about Prior Approval
What is prior approval?
Some medications are covered by your plan only for certain uses or in certain quantities. Your plan sets all coverage parameters. For example, a medication may not be covered when it is used for cosmetic purposes. Also, the quantity covered may be limited to certain amounts over certain time periods. In these cases, your doctor may need to provide more information to determine if your prescription meets the coverage criteria.
I wonder what is cosmetic and what isn't. My doctor is willing to prescribe HGH based on my IGF results. Are they only paying for people that have pituitary issues? Mine are low but not in the bottom 5%.Last edited by FallenWyvern; 03-01-2008 at 10:36 AM.

Prior Approval is a pain the ass to deal with. They used to not do it up until like 4 yrs ago. Basically they dont' wanna pay for ur shit because its too expensive so they make you jump thru hoops and hoping that you'll forget about it. I think they only thing they consider "cosmetic" would be like phenterimine. shit they'll even pay for viagra now so HGH should be no problem lol.
