Hi, im 30 years old im on 5 mg of androgel a day. My prostate is swollen and kind of uncomfortable. does any one have any suggestions on what i could do to take the pressure off my prostate? i feel good other wise. but a swollen prostate is very annoying!

agree....doctor in order...did you have someone check it for you didnt know you could feel your own prostate...has this occurred only since starting the androgel and how long have you been on the gel vs. having the discomfort?

if I was you Id check your doc and cut back what you are taking bro .... health comes first!

Beta Sitosterol it is the active ingredient in saw palmetto. takes a week or 2 but it shrinks prostate tissue.

Some AAS , mainly androgens can cause your prostate to enlarge and become inflamed. For me this would be dianabol, it caused my prostate to explode, making it hard to pee, etc. If you switch from the androgel, you'll probably find what is right for you. For your current situation you can take any anti-inflammatory like Motrin, Bextra, celebrx, for a couple of days and it will bring it right down.

As Bryan2 said - Saw Palmetto is the best bet to start with. There are some natty "prostate" products that combine this with a couple of other herbal things that work for most men.
