Any benefit to clomid while on TRT? If so how much to take and how often?

No problem. 56, 6'2",210, 20yrs. off and on more of a hobbiest/general fitness seeker then serious BB. Current TRT is 300mg test cyp per week. Pestered my doc for over two years for a script and I eventually wore him down.

My free test last check 6 months ago was 0.5%!!!! Total T was 310. I had been making do on UGL and abstained to reach 310 to get the script. I was honest with him about the UGL use and that was part of the reason he gave in. He is still not convinced of the efficacy of TRT. I am uninsured so have to go to a low cost clinic so I couldn't be too picky and go see another doc.

Anyway I want to maximize the benefits. Can' afford aromasin and that will take another two years to get a script anyway. So I am thinking clomid...

What do you think bro.? I am rather lost as to this science. Any help is appreciated.

your doctor is the shiznit!!! 300mg per week is way more than 99% of endos would give out, he needs to be careful IMO. But cool he did that for you, IMHO clomid sucks balls, I rather use nolva anyday then mess with the visuals and mind phuk clomid puts me through.

Look up Arimidex, A lot of TRT'ers use it a .5mg twice a week to combat estrogen related sides.

Yeah this is what concerns me. So arimidex should do it huh? Is 0.5mg twice a week enough do you think? At 56 I got maybe 20 years left in this body and I don't want any of that time taken up with high estrogen sides. At the same time I don't want it to go too low.

God I am thankful for this forum and others like it cause my doc hasn't a clue and neither do I.

start at .25 EOD witht the anastrozole and see what that does, you may need to start at .5 EOD and taper down week2
