    Need Input, Urologist Appt.

what's up everyone! well i have bloodwork scheduled for this thursday at my uro office,, hoping to start trt finally.

anyway,, i read somewhere that taking 2-3 "birth control pills" a couple of days before will further reduce your free test levels before bloodwork.

has anyone here tried this that can verify this??

i really need my test levels as low as possible to qualify 100%

thanks in advance for your help!

sorry, haven't heard that one.. not sure, but it might work.. the estrogen would trigger the body to stop producing test because the body thinks there is too much estrogen, thus it must be making too much test..

see the reasoning.. don't know if it works though..

well sorry for having to work 7 days a week for the past few weeks LOVBYTS,,, but since u insist on an update here it is:

i have told the last uro to go learn more about trt,, and wrote him off as a waste of my time.

i have a new appt. for early june with an ENDO who was a referral from my primary doc.

and i will try the pill trick again.

Now i would like to see YOUR appt. update please..

I'm sure the Endocrinologist wont be any help with the HGH but maybe the Test E and it will be more covered by the insurance.

OK, I had mine done a little over 2 months ago and gave those numbers in another thread. I go in for mine on Tuesday and will update when I get them back. I'm hoping that my test will be low enough also to start on the injections SOON. Gel didnt do anything for me. I think my test last time was around 250-260, LOW normal. I was hoping to find out if the birth control helped lower yours so I could do the same.

yea , i had a test done last november and it was like 248, low normal but my primary said i was "fine". so my quest began for a better understanding doc.

i'm going to do the pill for maybe 3-4 days prior to my test in june.

if u have some at hand from the wife or someone, it wont hurt to take 1 for a couple days before your upcoming appt.

    good luck
