yes to estradiol...picked up on the use of the word abuse and my guess is if that if that was the way you phrased it with your Dr, i wouldn't be surprised if he started you with an arimidex type treatment....on second thought, if that was going to be his approach he would have tested estradiol....bottom line is the testes produce testosterone ....if you have low test, he will order some tests to see if your pituitary is sending the signal to your boys to produce....if it is not sending the signal he will order an MRI to make sure you don;t have any tumors interupting the signal ....then he'll check the hypothalamus to see if its signal to the pituitary is there.....and somewhere the amount of estradiol is telling him something....most of this was over my head so i am giving you the abbreviated version....my experience was my GP received the low test results and started me on the injections but ordered me to an endo for the MRI and further blood tests to find out what level of test i got to inject....they like leaving you at the low end of normal so ...well, you already figured out how to supplement so...good luck M8

ok thanks for the low down bro I appreciate it...I basically went and said I have lethargy general feeling of weakness, no sex drive specified that I can get an erection its just I dont have the desire to use it... he asked about supplements that I took I knew he was hinting on AAS use...so i basically said well i figure I better come clean...Told him I had used steroids in the past he asked for how long I told him 4 years, he asked how long it was since the last time I used I said a year, but I ve been having symptoms of low t for about a year and a half...he knows because I complained about similar problems once before
My stats are:
Age: 23 (ive been using AAS for roughly 4 years on and off I know I know too young I messed up and now im paying the price believe me)
height: 6'1"
Weight: 245
BF%: ~15-20%
Symptoms range: I'd say continuous for about year and a half; however Ive had similar feelings in my past but I was a big big big fan of Deca so I always figured it was just taking me longer to recover....before I belonged to this board and educated myself, I even ran it alone no test on two seperate occasions at 400 mgs/ week and again at 600 mgs/ week

good call jpk....keep bumping juice cause these guys will help you through this...i'm 55 so my HRT may be a different ball game...do think it was a good call sharing the info with your Dr if he is not predisposed to an attitude....if he sees his call to help and not judge....cause at 23 you should be wanting to put junior in damn near anyone even if you choose not to....what i can tell you is there is as much brain power on this site as there is muscle...good luck

First off I appreciate the input from you bros it helps tremendously...I dont think my doc will judge me for using, I could see it in his face.... once I told him I used he knew exactly what to do he jumped up and started writing the script for bloodwork...I personally think that even if my bloodwork comes back a little on the low side but not legally qualifying for TRT I think he still may point me in the direction of where I can legally find someone who will treat me....hahaha I agree bro its depressing that I dont even care thats why I had to try and get put on TRT I cant stand it anymore...thank you again

i wish u luck bro,, but at age 23 most docs will err on the side of caution as far as trt is concerned. minimum age i've heard usually is 30,, unless you are VERY low and have a fearless doc.
he might try to put u on high doses of clomid and/or hcg for a few months to see if that gets ur levels back to 'normal'.
good luck and keep us posted.

thank you...ya I figured HCG /Clomid could be one of the options but honestly I dont mind as long as it returns me to normal...will do as soon as I know the results I will let you know
