    Blood work back

My BW results came back: (I am 31)

    Total test: 2.39ng/ml (2.8< value< 8)
    LH: 3.5 IU/L (1.7< value< 8.6)
    Estrogen: 18.1 ng/L (7< value< 43)

Reading these I see that my total test is low, my LH is in the low-normal range and my estrogen is normal.

Right now I will be asking for additional free test, progesterone, prolactin, GnRH and FSH testing in order to determine the reason for this low total test reading. It can be that my hipotalamus is not releasing enough GnrH, or my pitutitary is not producing enough LH and FSH or simply my boys are not capable of producing enough test with enough levels of LH, although I think the LH value is low and that can be the main cause.

I have always done moderate cycles followed by adequate pct's and have been off for about 10 months so I don't think that is the cause. On the other hand I have always had very few facial and body hair, I suspect my bone density is low because I seem much heavier than I really am, my libido is not the same, among other factors that lead me to believe that my test levels have been on the lower side since puberty.

Is anyone in this same situation at this age? If so, how have you and your doctor dealt with it?

Any suggestions I can present to my doc?

    Thank you all

    Hugo

    Well,

She did not listen to me and told me everything is normal and that my LH is too high because its a female hormone and should be 0.

I think she does not know what she is talking about since its LH that triggers the Leydzig Cells to produce testosterone . I think I will need the check with an endo though I am not too hopeful anything helpful will come from there.

I wish i could help you here. All i can say is have some hope when consulting a different doctor. I think you are right, she doesnt know what she talking about. An Endo should know. You could self administer some HCG and see what it does. If it temporarily get your boys goign that might tell you somehting.

    Good luck!

She is either 1 of the dumbess doctors i have ever heard about or just did not want to treat you. Either way you need another doctor and those test run. This seems to be the norm with alot of people when they try to get help. it really should not matter what caused the problem it should matter finding out what is causing it and trying to fix it. And I do not mean treating the sypmtoms.

TBones had a good idea with the HCG if it helps alot that will at least point you in some direction.
But i really think a doctor would be better that knows what they are doing and are willing to help.
