    Free Test levels

I went back in for blood work today. The Doc is testing my free Test levels. What would the norm range be? I am 36 yrs old. Been lifting for 6 years and not on any cycle. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

normal free test for men (from a majority of labs, quest labs being one example) is at a range of 50 to 250 pg/ml with the optimal being at least 125 pg/ml.. however, the most accurate gauge is your BAT (Bio-Available Testosterone ) level, which is the sum of free test and albumin bound test, which should not fall below 50% (of total test) or roughly 90ng/dl, optimal being 200+ .... cheers

Are these two different tests? I'm still learning about what to ask the doc for. I went about two weeks ago and had my total test checked. It came back at 430. It was checked at 9 a.m.

The normal range will be printed on the lab results. Sometimes "normal" varies between labs due to their testing methods
