HRT and water retention

I was 200mg of test C / weekly for the past several months. Due to reasons beyond my control, i havent taken the medication for about 2 months. i lost about 7 pounds all of which seems to have been water: Now im going back on the medication. How can i control this water bloat?

Arimidex is probably the best bet. You might also consider cutting your dose to 100mg a week too.

chug....not sure about the doc...mine switched me from enth to cyp to help control bloat....the liquidex i shopped for ... the ideas i heard most was EOD .25 or .25 x 2 weekly

yes...it is possible to get from your hrt doc...i get from my family doc

So do you start your Adex from the start of your cycle or once you see the signs of bloat? So .25 eod will work?

i never waited 4 signs...had early bloodwork soon after starting and estradiol skyrocketed

I noticed some puffiness in my right nipple and started Arimidex soon after. A couple of doses later and it's under control.

I don't use armidex, but I don't bloat that much. Bloat for me is all in the diet.

Otto, are you on HRT and if you are do you take Arimdex everyday or just when you have flare-ups? I have letro around just in case but I never thought of taking Dex with my HRT to combat bloat or anything else. Is it safe to take year round?

thanks guys, i spoke to my MD and he gave me an ** for the arimidex. its for
.5mcg a day. Sounds like a lot to me, but my last blood work came back with a lot of estrogen in it.
