Question for individuals currently on HRT/TRT

I'm curious as to what the most noticeable changes aside from muscular development that you or others have recognized while on HRT.
How did you feel before and how do you feel now?

Nope, working on it. Last bloodwork I had I tested in at 423 in the AM and 269 in the PM on the 261-1593 scale. I'll find out Monday from my primary if I can start HRT. They still need to check my free test.
Right now I can tell you I feel like absolute crap, all the time.
Every day drags for me, I'm always in a state of lethargy and depression. I completely lost my drive for working out, used to be my life but it just became too much. My sex drive is rock bottom, I literally have to force an erection.
Thing is I'm 25, I shouldn't have these problems for 15 more years. It all started after I got back from Iraq, me and my buddy both came back with gynocostmastia. Others came back with other ****ed up things, flesh eating diseases, hepatitis, hair falling out in patches, one guy went blind for an unknown reason. Not sure if it's exposure, the meds they gave us or what something has been knocked out of wack.

yes even with only 200mg of test wk the changes are coming great.makes u feel good when people start asking man see u been working out hard again.my diet gets better every day.the scale says i put on 12lbs.and that is even with dropping some bf%.the stregth is really begging to rise also.been on the deca over 3 1/2 wks now maybe that is starting to help out the strenght gains here recently. im pretty happy i can say that.

    positives: loss of body fat/
    more vascular

negatives: little bit of extra back hair

Energy, sex drive, feeling much better, regain of lost muscle, better sleep, regaining of mental ability (this almost derailed my career.

60mg cypionate 2x a week. Will be adding arimidex shortly as estrogen came a little high. I feel no side effects from it thou.

Almost the same as my syptoms but mine were caused due to aging. My levels ranged from 380 to 420. Since you are much younger I would explore all avenues before HRT.

Energy and better mental outlook. A general sense of well being and more comfortable in large groups.

    Smaller balls and minor acne.

Tons of physique benefits, which helps confidence as well.

    Ironside,

I to am only 24 and on 7/17 looked went in to my first TRT appt. They drew blood to check my levels, pituitary gland and prostate. Everything checked out fine except my levels are at 460ng. They went ahead on 7/17 and gave me my injection of Cypionate 200 based on my what my levels were on 5/18/08, which were at a EXTREMELY Low 156ng. on a scale of 241-847ng. and my free test was a 2.9 on a scale of 9.6-26.5. I had been off my cycle 8 months when I was tested last year. At the time my levels were tested last year I was going through a completely different problem dealing with pain meds and the DR. I was seeing in FL was a total Quack and didn't bother with helping with my test. levels, so I'm just now getting everything straight from that whole experience. I know exactly what you mean about not having the drive to do anything, mentally my mind is back where it should be, but I'm physically not capable of putting forth the effort to work out anymore. I checked into TRT for the first time last Wed. and was in by Friday. The thing is for the past month prior to that I used some out of date Androderm 5mg patches to try and start my own form of TRT, but I only had 15 of them so instead of one a day, I would use one for 2 days and then cut open and rub the gel on my arms (Sure that wasn't the Brightest thing), but I hear it takes 8wks. to get results from them. It is kind of weird though that my levels went from 156ng. 13months ago and now they're up to 460ng. I'm not sure if the patches worked or not and I informed my Dr. during my visit. The thing is at his lab I'm still considered eligible since my levels are between 420 & 550. I get the resulsts from my Free Test back on Wed., but as far as I know I'll still be able to get the standard 3 shots a month of Cyp. 200. I do know however that just from the one shot I received on 7/11 that I've noticed an increase in my appetite like I would if I were running a "Fast Acting" supplement, which I found to be strange since it takes longer for your body to break down, On a downside note, my mood and depression have seem to gone up. It could be a mixture of the other meds I'm taking counteracting. I guess we're just about in the same boat because I feel the same way, but the only thing is I still have somewhat of a sex drive, although Vodka normally gives me that!! Let me know how things go for you and what you find out and I'll do the same. Also, if anyone else could shed some light on this subject it would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm 33 and been on HRT about two yrs. I take 200mg EOW. The best benefit is mental outlook and no more depression. It's helped with my anxiety as well! I agree with Fallen Wyvern about the large group feeling.

Personally, I feel like I can train the way I did when I was in my late 20's, but without adding Deca to my 100 mg./wk test cyp, my joints (knees, shoulders, and elbows) just don't seem to keep up (post recovery). Overall, I'm glad I'm doing it.

I feel great on HRT and symptoms were like most, ED, Fatigue, no muscle gains, weight gain, and felt like shit all the time. All fixed now. Coach44 I was having joint pain also from being able to train like i was 20 and a suup got rid of all pain in 2 days. PM me if you want the supp name. I am not a salesman in any way just passing on something that worked for me.

I just started on HRT; had two injections so far. Taking 200/wk. of test. cypionate . I have had ALL of the symptoms described here and more. My levels were 117! I am hoping for the best!

Question, how long before I start feeling better? Also, I seem to be experiencing joint pain, in my knees especially since starting. Any thoughs?
