    Question Injections, how many mgs?

I go to see a new doc in a couple days to switch from gel to injections. What is the typical dose for weekly injections? I want to make sure I get enough.

I am 6', 220, early 40's. I have been on gel for 2.5 weeks and my levels were at 140 before starting.

Also, when they test me again, can they test my natual production or can they only see my new elevated levels?

    Thanks

When I went to shots about the same time as you. I was given 200mg a week. After 6 months I am on 100mg a week. I wish I started at a low dose and worked my way up. I would try 100mg a week and see how you feel. I would also front load with 200mg the first week. It is a pain to go down, because it takes a while to get used to the lower dose. More always feels better. I am taking that you want it for HRT only. If not then go with a higher dose. There can be side effects with this so keep a watch on these.

your natural production will be supressed when your taking exogeneous test and typical maintenance dose for TRT is 100-150mg ew...usually a h r t c l i n i c is where you find higher doses like 200mg and above prescribed weekly

would be best if you are doing the injections....less trouble....more freedom

i tried to post here last night guess my computer messed up

They will always see one level. No distinction. So they will test probaly total test and free test. These numbers are affected by the injected test + natural production, or your natural only if no test was taken.... They dont test "production" per se. Make any sense?

If you are getting test from an external source your natural test will be shut down and reduced to next to nothing. That is why it is called replacement therapy.
